Story
Frosty is a beautiful 10-year-old Great Pyrenees with a soft heart and an even softer soul. This shy, gentle girl is searching for a calm, low-energy home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. At first, Frosty may take a little time to warm up—she’s the kind of dog who prefers to observe quietly before offering her trust. But once she knows you, she blossoms into a devoted companion who will happily become your shadow. Her loyalty and affection run deep, and she loves nothing more than being close to her favorite people.Frosty enjoys spending time outdoors and going for peaceful walks, then coming inside to cuddle up and relax. She has an easygoing personality and does well with other dogs, especially those who share her low-energy, laid-back style. While her experience with cats is unknown, her gentle nature suggests she would likely do just fine with a proper introduction. With her long, fluffy coat, Frosty will need an adopter committed to regular grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. In return, you’ll gain a sweet, loving companion who will fill your home with quiet devotion and warmth. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate senior dog to share your life and your couch, Frosty may be the perfect match. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $150
