Story
Rufus is a sweet, anxious boy who struggles in busy kennel environments. After moving him to a quieter space, he settled in, stopped destroying his kennel, and was finally able to relax and sleep. This tells us Rufus does best in calm, low-traffic environments. Rufus needs a patient foster or adopter who will give him time to build trust. Once he feels safe, he is incredibly cuddly, goofy, and loving. He has been through a lot, and stability and consistency will make all the difference for him. If you can offer Rufus a quiet home or even some extra one-on-one time, you could change his world. Rufus is currently in foster, please call the shelter to coordinate a meeting!

Story
Minerva is a sweet 3 year old, 78lb Great Pyrenees mix whose equal parts playful, smart, and lovable. This outdoor-loving girl enjoys fresh air and adventure! She’s a joy to be around and loves learning new things — from commands to fun enrichment games that keep her mind busy and happy. While Minerva absolutely adores people she’s familiar with, she has some stranger danger and can be nervous when first meeting someone new. With a bit of patience, her affectionate and loyal personality really shines through. With her size, she is best suited for a home without small children. If you’re looking for a bright, fun-loving companion who will bring lots of joy (and cuddles!) into your life, Minerva is ready to meet you and become part of your family. Meet Hunter! He is around 6 years old and though he is microchipped, his owners info was not updated and no one has come looking for him. Hunter is a big boy, weighing in at 91lbs. He is newly off his stray hold, so we are still getting to know him! We can't wait to get to know this boy!

Story
Signa is a 1-2 year old, 63 lb Pyrenees mix with beautiful grey markings on her face and an incredibly sweet, easygoing personality. She is a mellow girl who is quiet, gentle, and just enjoys being around her people. Signa is dog friendly and walks well on a leash. She would do well with children as long as they understand how to respect a dog’s space. She should not go to a home with cats. Signa is the kind of dog who doesn’t need much excitement to be happy. She’s a calm, sweet girl who would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a mellow companion.
