Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a three year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home. Story
Sully is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees. He is 93lb, intact, great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Loves to be outside and will do anything for a cookie. He was raised with goats and chickens for first 6 months of his life, then became a pampered inside dog. My allergies have become progressively worse making it difficult to have him indoors. He needs a large fenced yard to roam and a loving home. Would prefer he goes to a home with someone familiar with GP breed.

Paisley is an  All American dog, a Heinz 57 pup, but there might be some Great Pyrenees in there.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2021. She's shy and would probably appreciate a calm home, at least until she feels more at home.  She would need patience at the beginning, and lots of love to help her feel more confident in her new home.  Then she'll probably be eager to run and play with her new family. ~~ Adoption donation $300 .
