Story
Hello, We are looking to rehome our sweet boy, Odin. He is a loving, protective, energetic Great Pyrenese that was born on 5/24/2024. He has been in our care since August of last year and has been loved by our family. Unfortunately, our circumstances have changed recently that have made it clear to us that he would be better going to a new home that can provide more space for him to roam around. He is house broken and spends the majority of the day lounging about however, he would be best served in a home with a large, fenced in yard that would give him more freedom than hehas now. He is great with both people and other animals, he is very friendly and hasnt shown any aggressive traits.

Story
Maple is a loving, sweet, gentle natured Great Pyrenees with a beautiful face and coloring. She is currently an outdoor dog and part of the reason she needs to find a new home is because she will sneak out and roam the neighborhood whenever possible, so a good fence is a must. Maple would also be best suited in a home without near neighbors as she does enjoy barking. Maple is very friendly and gets along well with other pets. She is 7yo, very healthy, 85 lbs, spayed, chipped, and up to date on all of her shots. She currently enjoys the company of her “little sister” Daisy, a 4 yo, 68 lb female Labradoodle. Daisy is loving and extremely playful. She is a perpetual puppy at heart. Ideally we would love for someone to adopt both “sisters” together, but our main priority is their happiness and wellbeing regardless.

Story
Sadie is around 4 years old and is a cuddly 87 pounds currently. She is your typical, loving Pyrenees that has gotten along great with everyone she has met here. We would love for her to have a farm to roam but she could go in a fenced yard with supervision until she is accustomed to her new home. She was around cats and other dogs at the farm she previously lived on with no issues. She has always been an outside dog but is now loving to come inside with us and get cuddles. She was also immediately house trained and has not had an accident inside in the week she has been in. She is doing well with leash training here at the rescue also. This girl especially loves the little dogs and with her temperament, she should do well with all critters, cats, dogs and kids. This girl is just one big love bug! Sadie is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. Story
Ally is around 4 years old and a very huggable 81 pounds currently. She has the loving, gentle Great Pyrenees personality and was around other dogs and cats at previous home with no issues. She has been great with the small and large dogs since she has been here. This is a true working girl and will need a farm to roam or, if you have a fenced yard, she can roam there with supervision until she knows her new home. She has always been an outside dog but since we have had her inside here, she is enjoying coming in to take a break and was automatically house trained as she has not had an accident inside. She is now walking well on leash too. Ally enjoys being inside now and in the mornings, we must wait until she goes to all the small dogs and tells them good morning with tail wagging.  She should be great with critters, dogs, cats, kids and an active family. She would be best with other animals so that she has a job and she loves them. Ally is spayed, microchipped and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 9, 2025, 10:39 am
