Story
Please contact foster at KRYSTYNA2191@GMAIL.COMSnow has a lovely and sweet personality. She handles herself well in the car, knows sit and walks well on the leash without tension or reactivity to other pets. She is crate trained and 90% housebroken (some accidental urination at night occurred). She loves walks and jogging, although for now she is still regaining her strength. She doesn’t shown any resource guarding tendencies and appears positively curious about other dogs and other animals. We are working on regaining strength and muscle and she can surely get closer to her majestic Pyrenees self!

Story
Rex is an almost 2-year-old happy boy who is very playful (we are convinced he is extremely unaware of his size). He loves long walks, treats, and adores my kids wayyy too much. He is very gentle, especially with my 2-year-old, whom he allows to lay on him and use him as a pillow (lol). My son hugs and cuddles him all the time. We love Rex more than words can describe. He arrived when he was just 1 from a family that did not take very good care of him, and it breaks my heart to change his home once more. Unfortunately, shortly after he arrived, we were hit with financial troubles back to back. We have tried to use all kinds of resources we’ve found, but we are at the end of the line. Our situation does not allow us to give him the care and nutrition he deserves. We would love Rex to go to a loving owner or family that will treat him with kindness, love, and is able to care for him.

Story
Birdie is a very special girl. She quickly stole my heart and I have loved every minute with her. However, Birdie loves her pack and gets nervous around those who are not in her pack. She does tend to resource guard, mainly food. However, she really only resource guards human food that she has been able to sneak away with. Sadly, this has lead to a few nips. She has never broken skin or caused serious injury, it has just become something we are insecure caring for moving forward. She would do best in an established home without children or cats. She is okay with dogs in other homes, so I feel she would be fine with dogs that are well-established in the household. Now that we have gotten that out of the way. Birdie LOVES her people. She loves to go for walks, sunbathe, patrol the neighborhood. She loves to play chase and peek-a-boo. She loves to have her hedgehog and lamb chop tossed. And she is non-destructive and house-trained! She is pry-fection. Willing to waive fee for right home!

Story
Looking to rehome my dog, he is about one years Old, he is very calm when around people, but has a little bit of separation anxiety when in the cage. He is really laid-back and likes to chill near you. We’ve had him for a while and don’t feel we can take care of him properly so we want to rehome to a loving family

Story
My name is Chachi and I am a very handsome and loving Great Pyrenees boy that is 18 months old and only 98 pounds.  I am big but NOT HUGE!   You see me smiling?Well, I do this all the time because I am a happy dog and I want people to know that I am very friendly and ready to be petted.   I really do like all people and all dogs that I meet.  I really, really love children too!   They say that my breed requires a fenced yard and I have to say that is a really good idea.  I like spending time outside and you really don’t want to have to sit and watch me for safety reasons if you don’t have a secured fence.   So…. if you have a physical fenced yard then Critter Cavalry Rescue would like to speak with you.  I think that if you love BIG dogs that I am a rather handsome dude to consider.  Mud puddles might NOT be my friend but big snow falls and deep banks would make me really happy!  I could stay clean very easily.   I am almost housebroken, and crate trained.    I would like to be your inside cuddle/lovebug and maybe help you start the new year off to a nice white fluffy start!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ASAP and ask all the questions you want about filling out an adoption form.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 19, 2024, 8:26 am

Story
My name is Ocean and I am a 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix girl that is on the smaller side of 70 pounds and I love being outdoors.   I am looking for a home with some land to run on and a family  that will let me be inside as well as outside.  I am housebroken, great with children and dogs and good on a leash.   If I want out of a chain link yard, I will make sure I find a way out.  The only fence that would completely keep me contained is a privacy fence or a six foot iron fence that I cannot climb.  I just being a free spirit and so I could see myself living in the Northeast especially where it is cold and maybe out in the country or woods where I can explore but willing to always come home. I am truly a loving and sweet girl that  you will never regret loving or adopting.  My current family adores me but their yard is small and I need more room to run and enjoy my Great Pyrenees habits of being an outdoorsy kind of breed.   If you are interested then please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to find my final family to love with all my pretty and pure heart. April 19, 2024, 8:26 am
