Olivia is a fabulous happy girl who is called "Pony" at home because of her happy prance! She knows sit, come, and lay down and is super smart. Found stray, she takes more time than most dogs to get comfortable in a home .... but once she realizes you're her person, she will do her happy prance and get right in your lap for pets! Olivia's cautious nature does have her go on guard at new people ... She will bark a few times to alert you of a change in the home (so no apartments or townhomes). If it is a stranger or someone she's not comfortable with, she likes to retreat to a safe spot away from the visitor! MUST HAVES: a fenced yard as she is still a ball of nerves on a leash so is being walked short distances with double leashing for safety * A playful dog who can help her continue to build self-confidence * No small children as their busy nature keep her on alert * Time for at least one DAILY brushing. Olivia loves toys and bones - she will empty a toy basket one by one, picking them out and relocating to her bed! She is house and crate trained - and indifferent to cats! We are working on filling out her figure: she ideally should weigh about 50 pounds.

Olivia and George arrived from a shelter partner in rough shape. It is obvious they had been on their own for a while, as they were really matted and had burrs in their beautiful white coats. We got them to the groomer right away and cleaned up and boy did they shine! Olivia, who is about 116 lbs is a bit quicker to warm up, but both dogs are really eager to please and be with some nice humans who will take care of them. Olivia is HW+ which will be treated by the rescue, and George, who is about 95lbs is neutered. They are both microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. They would love to be adopted together. Story
This dog is by far the kindest most gentle creature ive had the pleasure of knowing. Ive had him for 3 years and Ive found that he deserves a yard, someone that will give him attention beyond what Im able to do, myself. Im moving to NYC in a few months and I have just come to terms with knowing that wont work for him. If youre interested in this baby we can schedule a meeting so you can meet him. A few things- He doesnt respond well to negative reinforcement, and his digestive system can be finicky (something we can discuss further) and he will eat soft things left on the ground(socks, underwear) so if youre not a clean person- beware. Additionally- he adores kids SO MUCH. He will chase them around and hes so gentle with them. Hes a great dog.

Sully is a 2.5 year old Great Pyrenees. He is 110lbs, intact, great with kids, cats, and other dogs. Loves to be outside and will do anything for a cookie. He was raised with goats and chickens for first 6 months of his life, then became a pampered inside dog. My allergies have become progressively worse making it difficult to have him indoors. He needs a large fenced yard to roam and a loving home. Would prefer he goes to a home with someone familiar with GP breed.
