My RescuedOhio name is Lulee but my foster family calls me the bestest girl—but what matters most is the bond we are about to create. I am a lovely young lady, approximately two years old, and I am on a quest for my forever best friend. I have a lot of love to give, and honestly, my favorite place in the world is right by your side.
I absolutely adore being loved, and if you have a lap to offer or a hand to pet me, I will consider myself the luckiest girl alive. Your full attention is my greatest treasure. I want you to know that I come with some pretty fantastic manners. I am completely housebroken and crate trained (though I’ll admit, I prefer being out with you rather than inside a crate for too long—I just don’t want to miss a single moment!). I can even tuck myself in at night.
My personality is as sweet as they come, and I adapt to new environments with ease. Wherever you are, that’s home to me. I have a zest for life that is contagious. I have a lot of energy, and I can play for a long time, but I can calm down and nap with the best of them. Whether it’s a game of fetch with my human, a wrestling match with a friendly doggy sibling, or just zooming around a fenced-in yard feeling the wind in my fur, I am ready for the fun.
I’m also a bit of a comedian—I seem to have a sixth sense for when you’re feeling down, and I will turn on the charm to make you smile. One tiny thing to know about me: because I’m still young and enthusiastic, I sometimes gently put my mouth on your hand when I’m trying to get your attention and you’re not cooperating. I don’t mean any harm—it’s just my way of saying, "Hey, look at me! Let’s play!" With a little patience and training, I know I’ll perfect my manners. All adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea prevention, and current heartworm prevention. Dogs over six months of age are heartworm tested prior to adoption. If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at rescuedohio.org.
