We are rehoming our 3 year old female great Pyrenees. She is a very lovable dog, however we r rehoming her due to being food aggressive. We have 2 younger children and there was never an issue with her, but they weren't around her while she was eating. She has always been a pet, not a livestock guardian dog. She has experience going to a groomer and loves going for car rides.

This is Allie and she is looking for a forever home with love and a fenced yard! She is not a dog that has spent a night outside. She loves to play catch and gives hugs. Due to life, I had to move back into an apartment and it’s not working out. She is 4 years old and spayed. She will come with her toys and food etc. She’s a big girl and with no place here for her big enough. It’s best I do the right thing for her and try to find her a good home. She’s a very good dog. Lennox gets an A++ for looks, personality, style and swag! Look at him. Cameras don’t lie. Lennox is absolutely stunning but his good looks are only the beginning😊 Personality wise, Lennox is calm, collected, chill, affectionate and incredibly friendly with people and all dogs. And then there's style. Lennox’s got it down. He may walk at a leisurely pace, but the way his body moves and that gorgeous tail sways with every step? Pure confidence and swag. Talk about an all-star! Lennox loves to be near you but not quite touching. He particularly likes to put his face close to yours, stopping just short of touching. He spent a lot of time alone in his previous home, so it is almost as if he is being polite by not intruding on your space. I am not quite as polite. I pull him close, hug him, kiss him and he is ok with that! Lennox loves his walks. He is a gentle walker. You almost have to give him gentle reminder tugs to pick up the pace 😊 But when he is in a silly mood, he gallops 😊Lennox loves playing with other dogs. His silly side comes out when he plays. He uses his mouth and paws to engage his friends. Lennox is a 5-year-old, 65lb Great Pyrenees mix. He is looking for a relatively quiet home where his humans can continue to show him what it means to truly belong. Family means being together, doing things together whenever possible. Long hours spent alone is a thing of the past. Lennox would love a home with a 4-legged sibling to play with and for companionship.

Story

We adopted Luke from a local shelter in March 2026. He is now approximately 8-9 months old. Shortly after he settled in our home he began showing signs of resource guarding (his food and me) We moved his food to a private location and don’t allow him to interact with us when we feed him but his guarding of me has become unsafe for my children. He does not like when they approach me or are around me. He needs someone experienced with this behavior and I would recommend no children in the home. He is up to date on all vaccinations, house trained, does well on a leash, and is not reactive to neighbors-dogs- kids while in our yard or going for walks. His barking is minimal and he sleeps through the night in my bedroom. He loves going on adventures to the park and dog friendly stores. He is a wonderful dog if it was just myself, but as much as we’ve worked with him we just don’t feel comfortable with him around the kids (age 9-15). Please someone give him a good home!
