Story
“Meet Jaxon! This 3 year old Great Pyrenees, is large, in charge, and ready to rule your roost/couch! Jaxon can organize a toy mess in under 30 seconds and he can return a ball to you even faster. His favorite activities are making sure his people and home are safe, picking up litter on walks so you can discard it (cares about his environment!), and babysitting tennis balls. What he lacks in small-ness he makes up for in the puppy playfulness. He’s crate-trained, good on a leash with harness, and mostly house-trained (so close!). His foster home includes both cats and dogs and he prefers his kitty friends. Interested adopters should expect a couple rounds of dog-testing with any existing dogs (low energy females preferred) and some warm-up time with men.” Age: 3 years old approx Weight: approx 65 lbs Temperament: Gets along with adults, kids, dogs Training: house trained. Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative For questions about Jaxon, please email. chelseacna@gmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself

Story
Ripley is a beautiful pup who could be a mix of Great Pyrenees, Shepherd, Hound, or quite possibly a variety of breeds. We don't know either parent so it is a best guess, not a guarantee. She is playful and friendly and is doing great in her foster home with the resident dogs and acts like everyone she meets is her new best friend. She is up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, spayed, and weighed 11lb 7oz on 6/12. All of our puppies are fostered in private residences so an approved application is required in order to arrange a visit at their foster home. ~ If you would like to submit an application for possible approval please email pupresq@gmail.com to request an application be emailed to you ~ Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home/available most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!!

Story
Meet Mr Van Morrison! Van is a Great Pyrenees mix and is about 7 mos old and came to Outcast with his 3 siblings. Him and his siblings were all very under socialized. Van has had a particularly hard time adjusting to the real world and is still very timid and shy. He is absolutely sweet as pie and would not hurt a fly! He is an old soul and you can’t help but melt when he looks at you with those big beautiful brown eyes. Van is good with other dogs, is house and crate trained. He has met several kids ranging from infant on up. Van would do best in a quiet home, with not much commotion. He needs people who will take the time and patience to earn his trust and continue to work on helping him conquer his fears. Van is truly a gentle giant and will make someone a very loyal companion. You must be over 21 to apply and live within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area within NJ or PA (NO EXCEPTIONS!) Visit our website www.outcastrescue.com to submit an application. Story
My name is Ocean and I am a 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix girl that is on the smaller side of 70 pounds and I love being outdoors.   I am looking for a home with some land to run on and a family  that will let me be inside as well as outside.  I am housebroken, great with children and dogs and good on a leash.   If I want out of a chain link yard, I will make sure I find a way out.  The only fence that would completely keep me contained is a privacy fence or a six foot iron fence that I cannot climb.  I just being a free spirit and so I could see myself living in the Northeast especially where it is cold and maybe out in the country or woods where I can explore but willing to always come home. I am truly a loving and sweet girl that  you will never regret loving or adopting.  My current family adores me but their yard is small and I need more room to run and enjoy my Great Pyrenees habits of being an outdoorsy kind of breed.   If you are interested then please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to find my final family to love with all my pretty and pure heart. June 16, 2024, 8:05 pm

Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 16, 2024, 8:05 pm
