Story
My name is Chachi and I am a very handsome and loving Great Pyrenees boy that is 18 months old and only 98 pounds.  I am big but NOT HUGE!   You see me smiling?Well, I do this all the time because I am a happy dog and I want people to know that I am very friendly and ready to be petted.   I really do like all people and all dogs that I meet.  I really, really love children too!   They say that my breed requires a fenced yard and I have to say that is a really good idea.  I like spending time outside and you really don’t want to have to sit and watch me for safety reasons if you don’t have a secured fence.   So…. if you have a physical fenced yard then Critter Cavalry Rescue would like to speak with you.  I think that if you love BIG dogs that I am a rather handsome dude to consider.  Mud puddles might NOT be my friend but big snow falls and deep banks would make me really happy!  I could stay clean very easily.   I am almost housebroken, and crate trained.    I would like to be your inside cuddle/lovebug and maybe help you start the new year off to a nice white fluffy start!  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ASAP and ask all the questions you want about filling out an adoption form.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comApril 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
My name is Ocean and I am a 4 year old Great Pyrenees mix girl that is on the smaller side of 70 pounds and I love being outdoors.   I am looking for a home with some land to run on and a family  that will let me be inside as well as outside.  I am housebroken, great with children and dogs and good on a leash.   If I want out of a chain link yard, I will make sure I find a way out.  The only fence that would completely keep me contained is a privacy fence or a six foot iron fence that I cannot climb.  I just being a free spirit and so I could see myself living in the Northeast especially where it is cold and maybe out in the country or woods where I can explore but willing to always come home. I am truly a loving and sweet girl that  you will never regret loving or adopting.  My current family adores me but their yard is small and I need more room to run and enjoy my Great Pyrenees habits of being an outdoorsy kind of breed.   If you are interested then please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to find my final family to love with all my pretty and pure heart. April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Likeable Leo is a very handsome, one year old, 80 pound, Great Pyr boy that is crate trained and a ton of fun.  He loves to play with the other dogs in the fenced backyard and to wrestle and just enjoy the great outdoors.  Leo is so good with people, other dogs and will probably be fine with cats because he is really laidback and easy going.  You need to be sure you know about the Great Pyrenees breed and their unique personalities.  They are more reserved and like to be observers before they commit to being your friend.  Likeable Leo is losing his home because his elderly parents have had health issues and Critter Cavalry Rescue is helping them to rehome all 5 of their dogs.  This boy is ready to go if you are and if you have a fenced yard.  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you would like an application. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 23, 2024, 4:30 pm

Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

Story
Thor is a handsome 80 pound, one year old boy (as of 1/02/24) and he is looking for a home and family to claim him as their own.  This boy was raised by a loving senior lady who was not able to allow he and his brother to be inside her small home.   After much soul searching, she knows that these two handsome boys need more interaction than she can give them and they would love to be inside the home being treated like family pets.  He is OK on a leash but could improve with some practice.  He is good with other dogs, cats and loves children.  What Thor needs is just a chance to be inside a home and cuddling on the sofa or a nice big dog bed on the floor for him to join the family.  He is not housebroken because he has never had the chance to be taught what being inside was like and then going outside.  Could someone help change his life and help him bask in the love and comforts of a family home!?  If you are interested, Thor is fully vetted and neutered and microchipped…then please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  You won’t regret it. Story
Curious Civic is our most handsome freckled face, 80 lbs. Great Pyrenees mix boy that is just so laid-back guy that is just so wonderful to consider for an adoption.  He has a beautiful blue eye and that could be from so many different breed mixtures that influence his good looks.   This boy is under a year of age and at times can be dog selective if there is an alpha that tries to dominate him.  He is just won’t take being pushed around.  Most Great Pyrs will not.  It is their breed and nature of the breed. He walks great on a leash, enjoys car rides and has a nice disposition that is loving and mild mannered.  He would be a wonderful couch companion for watching anything YOU want on TV.  He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and micro chipped If you are interested in this boy please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   He is ready to go! Story
Daisy was found as a young small puppy in rural Cullman County. The family that found her were on a farm and had children, cats and dogs. They thought they would rehome her but never got around to it. They love her but realized they did not have time for another dog. That is when they recently turned to us to help rehome her to a loving family. She is very very loving. Wants affection and has no trouble returning it. She loves to play and would do well with another playful dog, or a human that loves to play with her. Please consider giving this sweet girl the love she seeks. Daisy is fully vetted, spayed, heart worm negative, microchipped and had her double dew claws removed when she was spayed. She is healthy, still a puppy ( although a not so small puppy) and looking for a family to love. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Meet Timmy! Timmy has come a very long way in the past 9 months, he just needed someone to work with him on his confidence and socialization. He is currently in doggy daycare and training and has made some impressive improvements. He is a gentle giant who is shy at first but will immediately be your friend if you give him a few minutes and some treats. He absolutley loves his lady dog friends and would be suitable with respectful kids. All around Timmy has proved that he is an amazing pup looking to run on someone's large property, go on hikes and walks and be active. He went from being abandoned, starved and unsocialized to being a big love bug who wants to climb in your lap. Will you give Timmy a chance? Please submit an application to adopt Timmy via our website www.ddpets.com. *If you are applying and have a male dog, this would not be best fit for Timmy or his brother Marius* Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption please submit an application to adopt. APPLICATION TO ADOPT: https://form.jotform.com/240606049335150      If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email:  dianespets1486@gmail.com April 26, 2024, 2:16 am

Story
KENNEL ID #01658&#226&#128&#139 Marius is a cross between two livestock guardian breeds. Marius and his sibling's owners decided a vacation was more important than caring for their 8 dogs. Marius has not been socialized very much and takes a while to warm up to you.  He is already a fantastic watch dog. He absolutely loves being outside and keeping an eye on things. He did come from a working farm so he needs an experienced owner that has prior experience with dogs that missed out on early socialization. He is affectionate to the staff that he knows, but it does take some effort on their part to win him over. This is pretty typical for guardian breeds. He will do best in a home without small children who may not understand that he needs some space and time to feel comfortable.  Marius deserves a chance at having a happy home. He just needs the right happy home. He is not an apartment or condo dog. He simply would not do well in a situation where there is a lot of commotion or new people. He would love hanging out with his besties and getting all of their attention all day. Thank you for your interest in rescue. If you would like to be considered for adoption please submit an application to adopt. APPLICATION TO ADOPT: https://form.jotform.com/240606049335150      If you have any questions regarding the adoption process please email:  dianespets1486@gmail.com April 26, 2024, 2:16 am
