Story
Sebastian is everyone's best friend! He is an outgoing guy who has never met a stranger. He's an excellent playmate with dogs big and small. He communicates well with other dogs and matches their playstyle. His leash manners are also lovely. He thinks he's a lapdog and likes to jump up and give hugs, so he might be a bit much for small kids. Visit www.cachehumane.org for more information on how to adopt me!

Story
REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Phoebe is an inside dog that is good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. She is house trained, using a doggy door, and walks well on the leash. She knows the sit and shake commands and sometimes struggles with the stay command. She has nipped the 8-year-old child and the mother, but did not draw blood. She gets along well with the cat in the home. She’s friendly toward people and could live with older, dog-savvy, teen-aged children. She’s very sweet, just needs a home with older children, cats and/or submissive dogs. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Phoebe was surrendered to us because she got in a fight with the other dog in the home and started growling at the 8-year-old child. The fight with the other dog required it to get stitches in its ear. Phoebe struggles with dominant dogs; she may do okay with a submissive dog; a meet and greet is recommended if you have another dog. Phoebe is otherwise a very sweet girl that loves attention and is very smart. If you’ll let her, she’ll give you a hug!Weighs 45 pounds; $25 to adopt.
