Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This boy is a miracle! He was so fortunate to be found, in the middle of nowhere in Utah, by some very kind people who would not leave him there. Got him to the vet who said he wouldn't have lasted another day. Shot and attacked by coyotes, we have no idea how he got there or how long he'd been out there alone. We called him Amos, Famous Amos after his story made the news. A wonderful foster stepped up and took amazing care of him, nursing him back to health. They called him Iroh and that name has stuck with him.  He has recently moved to a foster in MT to work on a few house manners and finish getting ready for his forever family.  Iroh was just neutered and had a cracked canine removed. He's growing his hair back and gained all the weight he needs to cover his ribs and hips! He's playing with dogs at the dog park, learning to be good with the cat. He loves his walks and is good on a leash. He adores people and all the attention he can get. This sweet boy will just melt your heart and be a wonderful member to any family!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 23, 2025, 2:53 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet guy found with his sister, Cher, wandering in West valley City. We were able to take them both into rescue and do their stray holds and neither pup was claimed. No surprise there since they were in pretty rough shape.  Sonny is a bit more reserved and chill than his sister but he is great with other dogs, cats and tiny kiddos too! He is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 23, 2025, 3:37 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cher and her brother Sonny were found as strays wandering in West Valley City.  We were able to foster them through their stray hold and get them to the vet. Sweet little Cher was dehydrated and needed fluids. Once she was feeling better and not scared in the shelter, she quickly perked up and a happy playful puppy appeared! Cher is playful and sweet, great with other dogs, cats and even toddlers! She does great in her crate and sleeps through the night. Her brother is already heading to his forever home, she would love to find hers too! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Delilah and her partner Darby came to us after going through quite a lot. Divorce and then neither family wanted them, so they ended up at the shelter. After being pulled, we realized they are not a bonded pair and would do best separated. However, Delilah would love another dog companion. She's currently living with other dogs, cats and young kids.  This is what her foster mom says about her..... Delilah is a sweet 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Akbash. She comes in at 93 pounds. She does great with other dogs, and cats but she does need a home without any small animals such as rabbits. She does great with kids of all ages. She's fully house-trained Walks like a dream on a leash Loves being right by you while you're cooking or watching a movie. She does need a fully fenced-in yard ideally 6 feet or higher. She doesn't bark unless she sees something that shouldn't be in her yard. She loves everybody and greets them with a wagging tail. She does have some resource guarding when it comes to her food and treats. So it's recommended she's fed separately. She does tend to eat fast, but she loves eating from her kong and rolling it with her paw or nose. She does need a slow introduction to other animals until she figures out her spot in the pack. Also a home where she isn't alone a lot. Delilah is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2025, 7:02 pm

We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive.
