Thank heavens for fosters who literally saved his life!  Just a couple of weeks with them and a virtual session with our behaviorist and Denali is doing fantastic! He adores people and does great with other dogs.  His coat was shaved at a previous shelter due to matting and foxtails, once it grows back he'll be an incredibly fluffy handsome boy. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Delilah and her partner Darby came to us after going through quite a lot. Divorce and then neither family wanted them, so they ended up at the shelter. After being pulled, we realized they are not a bonded pair and would do best separated. However, Delilah would love another dog companion. She's currently living with other dogs, cats and young kids.  This is what her foster mom says about her..... Delilah is a sweet 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Akbash. She comes in at 93 pounds. She does great with other dogs, and really needs a doggy companion in the home. She’s also good with cats but she does need a home without any small animals such as rabbits, chickens or ducks. She does great with kids of all ages and really would love to be in a home with them! She's fully house-trained Walks like a dream on a leash Loves being right by you while you're cooking or watching a movie. She does need a fully fenced-in yard ideally 6 feet or higher. She doesn't bark unless she sees something that shouldn't be in her yard. She loves everybody and greets them with a wagging tail. She does have some resource guarding when it comes to her food and treats. So it's recommended she's fed separately. She does tend to eat fast, but she loves eating from her kong and rolling it with her paw or nose. She does need a slow introduction to other animals until she figures out her spot in the pack. Also a home where she isn't alone a lot. Delilah is being fostered in Utah. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Many of the dogs who come to rescue have had a hard life. Coco is only about 2 but has already spent way too much time living on her own and suffering. We don't know if she was dumped or lost, abandoned intentionally. Whatever the case, this young girl has been through a lot.  She found her foster mom by wandering onto her property, and that saved her life. Emaciated and starving, her coat missing fur.  Sweet girl is getting healthy now, her coat is growing back, she's had entropion surgery on both eyes. She's ready for her forever home! Coco adores her Pyr buddy, Ollie, they play a lot! She is even good with the alpacas!! But absolutely no cats for this girl! And she is not ok with chickens either.  Coco loves people and is great with kiddos. She has not been inside much so will probably need some help with house training. She is currently being fostered in Southern Utah.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We first met Lucy about 2 years ago, surrendered to a Utah shelter for a supposed bite. But after her eval it's just not something we can ever believe she would do. She is beyond sweet and we found her a wonderful home with a kind man and his young Akbash, Zack. She was home. Until her kind owner suddenly passed away and Lucy, along with Zack, were facing euthanasia. We only had a couple of days to find a safe place for this bonded pair, thankfully a hero stepped up, a foster. Lucy takes a bit to warm up, she is protective but she loves deeply. She's been through a lot and we will be extremely selective on where she and Zack go, together! They are like an old married couple. :)  Both dogs are great with cats, Lucy is good with young male dogs, needs very slow intros with females. This sweet pair is being fostered in MT.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. So often when a family splits up it's the kids or animals that suffer the most, this was the case for Peanut. When his family split, he was suddenly spending his days alone, and suffered from separation anxiety. Peanut then found himself surrendered to the shelter. After several weeks of sharing his post, his heroes found him, his foster family! Peanut is currently in a foster home in Southern Utah with 2 fluffy siblings and wonderful humans! His foster dad works from home so he is rarely alone.  Peanut is very new to our rescue and we will update his progress as his family works with him on his anxiety. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2025, 1:45 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Albi was almost euthanized for just doing his job, being a protector. This boy needs a home where his dedication will be appreciated, he takes his job seriously!  Albi enjoys his time on the couch but is also a great patroller! He's very protective of his space and you will be incredibly safe with this boy on duty! He loves his walks and is learning not to pull so much. He could potentially live with cats but needs very slow intros and will chase those that run. He is good with other dogs with proper intros. He needs to live far from a road, he doesn't like cars and will chase, his foster mom is working with him on that. Albi has been in his foster home for over a year now and his foster mom knows him very well. He has bonded very closely with our girl Savannah and we are looking for an adopter who will take the 2 of them together.  Albi has been working on his food aggression for some time and has made improvements but it's still best to feed separately. This boy is a true guardian, he wants to protect his people and his property. He and Savannah are a great pair and will be a great addition for just the right home!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 17, 2025, 3:27 pm
