Story
HI - I'M JAX! I'm a 5-1/2-year-old male Greyhound-Pittie mix, possibly with some shepherd mixed in, in need of a foster or forever home. I'm such a quirky dog! I would be a great companion for an active person who wants a mix of a couch potato and active canine pal. I'm a funny dude with a handsome face and long legs. I love to run and play, and I love my toys, too. I would be great in a home that can provide me some love and attention. I do fine with some dogs, but would also thrive as an only dog. Change is a bit hard for me, so my new owner(s) will need to be patient while I learn to trust and bond. I'm not a fan of going to the vet! I've been waiting awhile and keep getting overlooked, probably because I'm an unusual combination of dog breeds. I weight only 57 lbs. If you can foster or adopt me, please email for an application.

Story
Penny is the sweetest, most loving dog. She loves long walks or runs and running in the backyard, and just to be a couch potato. She is well trained and can a bunch of tricks like sit, down, spin, kiss, bow, paw, etc. she will run and greet everyone walking in the door with kisses, children and adults (we have a 17 month old she is so gentle with). She is overall just the perfect dog, except with other animals. She has developed a fear of other dogs, and has food aggression that has progressively gotten worse, which is why we have to rehome her as she has bit our chihuahua twice in three weeks, after being together constantly for 6 years. We therefore think she will be best suited for a family as the only dog. Other than that, she’s just the perfect hound and she is very very loved, and we truly wish we could keep her.
