Story
Fergi was picked up from the shelter and brought home where he spent the next year being potty trained and acclimated to living with a 4 year old boy. Fergi is an active dog and loves playing fetch, going on hikes and wrestling with other dogs. He spends a lot of his home time in the garden. He requires at least two thorough walks daily, and he seems most relaxed after a visit or two to the dog park. Fergi sleeps in a giant kennel at night and does really well. We do this because we have a kitten that he enjoys terrorizing. Fergi is pretty territorial and has attachment issues. If left alone, be sure he cannot chew through anything to escape the home. He eats 1.25 cups of kibble twice a day, and is pee pad trained, though we are used to going on walks to potty at the moment. High energy dog with LOTS of love to give. Anxious but loyal.

Story
If you've been dreaming of a loyal companion who simply wants to be by your side, then Lady may be the perfect match. Lady is an incredibly sweet, social girl with a heart full of love. She's happiest when she's close to her people and is a true cuddle expert. In the evenings, she'll happily snuggle up beside you, rest her head in your lap, and soak up as many pats as you'll give her—she could easily spend an hour there! She comes when called by name and loves being part of the family. She has wonderful house manners and settled into home life almost immediately. Wooden floors? No problem. Stairs? She tackled them with confidence. She also travels beautifully in the car and walks like a dream on leash, making outings together a pleasure. Lady gets along very well with other dogs, including small dogs, and enjoys their company. While she has done wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, we're not yet confident about how she'd do with cats. Her calm, affectionate nature makes her an ideal companion for someone looking for a devoted best friend—especially an older person or anyone who would love a constant, loving presence around the home.

Story
Tigger is a confident, happy guy who takes new experiences in stride. He travels well and walks nicely on lead. He may like to walk out front and take the lead, but he doesn’t pull—he’s simply ready to see what’s ahead! When introduced to a new environment, Tigger was relaxed and curious. He confidently explored the yard, taking everything in with a happy, easygoing attitude. And people? Tigger loves them! 🥰 He is eager to engage, get some pats, and soak up all the attention he can get. If you’re looking for a greyhound who enjoys being part of the action and meeting his people with enthusiasm, Tigger may be your guy! ✨ Tigger is: • Confident and happy • Great in new environments • A good traveler • Walking well on lead • Curious and loves to explore • A people-loving boy who enjoys attention and pats Tigger is ready for his next adventure—and hopefully, that adventure ends with a family of his own.

Story
Kathy is a stunning black greyhound born on June 17, 2022, and she's ready to bring endless fun, laughter, and love to her forever family. If you're looking for a greyhound with personality to spare, Kathy is your girl! She's happy, playful, confident, and absolutely full of beans. Her carers describe her as a ""bit of a kook""—the kind of dog who keeps you smiling with her hilarious antics and joyful outlook on life. She's affectionate, loves a good pat, and is always a delight to interact with. Kathy travels well and showed wonderful patience while waiting her turn during her formal assessment, demonstrating that she can settle nicely when needed. On walks, she can be a little enthusiastic and is somewhat strong on lead, but she's very manageable and will only improve with a little guidance and consistency. She's also a wonderful canine citizen. Kathy has been friendly with dogs of all sizes and showed no signs of resource guarding, even during her assessment. While she hasn't yet been tested with cats, her confident and social nature gives her a great foundation for continued evaluations.
