Story
Woof! Woof! My name is Hershey. I am 6 months old (Jindo Mix) and weigh approximately 6 kg. I was abandoned by my own family in a small town located near Yongin, Korea. When my rescuer discovered me, she assumed I had a home and thought I escaped. For days, she was driving around the small town looking for my family. No one showed up. My personality is excellent. I am currently receiving basic training from my vet. I am looking for a family who will love me for a lifetime. I am great with kids and furry friends. I do prefer a home with no small children. Although I have no problems with kids, aunties at Joey & Bailey want to make sure I get zero stress. Should you be interested in adopting me as your new family member, please fill out our adoption application on our site to be considered as potential adopters. We highly encourage you to read our FAQs page on our site. PLEASE NOTE: All of our recently rescued dogs are currently fostered in Seoul, Korea by our volunteers. Our adoption process may be stricter than any other rescue organization as these rescued dogs are traveling over 5500 miles to be with their new permanent family. You must be at least 25 years old to be considered an overseas adopter. For serious inquiries only. Please note, we monitor all pets after adoption. We prefer adopters that are active on any of the social media accounts. Thank you!

Nikki IS AVAILALBE (updated 09-25-2023).To meet any of our dogs you must first complete our online adoption application on our website. For more information and the adoption application for Nikki, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=22515&name=NikkiNikki is a mixed breed dog, approximately 1 year old, that came to Coastal GSR from the Coachella Shelter after being found in a field with her siblings. The shelter called them &#39Shepherd mixes&#39 but if you look at Nikki, you might see more Greyhound or Whippet in her than Shepherd. Nikki is long, tall, and very lean. Nikki will probably not grow any taller but she may fill out some more. She has giant ears that want to stand up so desperately but mostly just flop. She has a voracious appetite and is very food motivated, which helps with training. She is fun, fearless, and fast. She is very alert and an adventurer but she can also be sweet and affectionate. Nikki goes hard, runs fast, and crashes hard too. Nikki is sharp - she learns new tricks and commands easily and she is adaptable.Nikki is housetrained and also crate trained. A real plus to help Nikki settle into your life would be to have a large yard for her to sprint around in and another young dog to play with. That would be heaven for her. If you are looking for a young dog/puppy to be your companion in the wilderness, on hiking trails, or just play in your yard with you and your dog - come meet Nikki! The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.September 25, 2023, 5:57 am
