WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Popcorn - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My creamy yellow over white coat is just like popcorn covered in delicious butter, hence the name Popcorn. At my young age popping around exploring everywhere is one of my favoritest things to do and with my buttery coating I'm much more delectable than your plain ole white popcorn pup!! I have some black color around my one eye but that's just where some of my kernels got stuck too close to the heat for too long!!! At around 8 months old I'm still very much a puppy. I'm still a little spongy...soaking up everything, and am at that great age where I'd make a great candidate for some obedience classes or maybe even some fun ones like agility! I'm game to give them all a try if you want to try them with me! I am super sweet, active and playful. I love people both tall and small and I'm good with other dogs, although we're not sure if I've ever met a cat. I would do great with another playful sibling of either the 2 or 4 legged variety or be just as happy getting all your attention as your one and only. Did you also know that I'm about at my adult weight of 45-50ish lbs and will be at a great size to share in all your adventures. I'd make a great neighborhood stroll taking pawtner, hiking/camping cohort and/or a river excursion companion. You want to do it, I'll be right there to try it out too! And the bestest part is when we're done having all our fun we get to have cuddle time! And at that pawfect mediumish size, I'm not too big to fit those cuddles in!! As with your typical pup, I'm playful and curious about everything. I'll need daily exercise and playtime, but with that in I should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. This lil spongey stud muffin is ready for my very own home, could I possibly have YOU as my family?!!

Story
Hi, my name is Pool! I'm a retired racer who loves long walks, neck scratches, and hanging out with people. Like many black greyhounds, I'm prematurely grey but don't let that fool you. I am very active, and would like a forever home that will take me on daily walks or at least a few times a week. I have a raincoat and I am ready to go rain, snow or shine. I was an amazing racer, and my track name was Deadpool. I miss it sometimes, and get excited when I see squirrels, rabbits or other small, bouncy animals. Don't worry, if I'm on lead I know to listen to my people and I will behave, but I wouldn't do well with cats and some small dogs because I like to chase. I have lived alone and with other greyhounds. I like attention, but I also know how to share and take turns. I do need a little time to build trust with people and other dogs, and I will let you know with a little grumble. I'm pretty talkative when I want something, and can sound like a grumpy old man when I need to go out and do my business. Don't worry, you'll get used to it and maybe even over time find it charming. If you can't adopt me, would you consider making a donation to help feed and care for me and other fosters? Maybe $5 for treats, $10 for a new stuffy or $50 for a bag of dog food. Any amount helps keep us all happy and healthy as we wait for the right forever home. Please go here to donate or learn more about me and other fosters on the Royal Hounds website. Story
Hi! My name is Buckner and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on March 16th, 2024.Here`s a cool fact about my name: I am named after Buckner Mountain right here in Washington!! Buckner Mountain`s top is made up of the `Boston Glacier`, the `Sahale Arm` and the `Horseshoe Basin.` Buckner Mountain just a bit TOO much for a doggo like me, but if you find a nice large field and throw me a ball, i`ll just keep running!I weigh 67 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I`m the kind of dog that appreciates people more than I do toys most of the time. I just want to lay down and cuddle up with you during movie night. You with a bowl of popcorn, and me with my ball.I`m a Greyhound mix. Our breed is full of energy and is meant to just run, run and run. Though I`m` all for just laying down I do need to get my energy out too! I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.My personality color is RED. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Meet adorable and active Annie! This Lurcher girl is between 5- 6 years old and was rescued by the American Lurcher Project. Annie weighs approximately 60 pounds. She is a very energetic girl and definitely needs a house with a yard. Annie is outgoing, intelligent and mischievous! Annie is food- motivated food and loves her blankets and playing. Annie adores her chin scratches and everything outdoors. She’ll make a great exercise partner as she digs walking, running and hiking. Annie needs a high energy adopter like herself. Annie lived in a very small apartment and even though the people walked her 3 to 5 miles a day, they just couldn’t wear her out. Annie needs to be an only dog because she is way too energetic for most other dogs and plays very roughly. Annie should not go to a home with children. She is a resource guarder and sees the children as competition for her things and food. Annie also has Separation Anxiety that had improved before the Pandemic but now that everyone is home all the time, she is back to square one. The owners did work with a behaviorist and some behaviors have improved. Bless her little heart, Annie likely has some of these issues as she was confined to a very small space all the time. Annie is such a great girl and really deserves a chance! Annie is very routine oriented and can be anxious if the routine is disturbed. She responds well to mental stimulation as well as physical. And that’s a great way to wear her out! Annie would be a great agility dog or some other activity that really makes her think. Miss Annie is ready to meet you at Greyhound Pets in Woodinville. She is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped. For questions, please email Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com or for an adoption application, go to: https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/adopt/adoption-guide/. You really have to meet this outgoing and truly amazing girl!

Beautiful brindle mix Lilly is smart, curious, playful and affectionate. She dearly loves ear and neck rubs! Lilly is very smart and intuitive and will look up to watch birds and airplanes fly. Amazing 4-year-old Rey is delightful and upbeat. She is very playful and friendly - and absolutely adores people. Rey loves to give hugs and get belly rubs. Rey can come out the gate fast (she is a strong girl), but she calms down quickly with clear guidance from you, her leader. Rey is eager to learn and our trainers are working with her. She’s such a very smart girl!!! Rey loves her walks and is very good on a leash and very good walking with you. She is good passing by other dogs and jumps right in the car. She’s ready for any adventure! Rey has a good nose on her and loves to track - she would be a great dog to do some scent work with to keep her occupied. Rey would do best in an active home with no small dogs, cats or young children. She is vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed. Rey is a great companion for you and your active family with older children. She’s so ready to meet you! Please contact Moira at fastpaws1998@gmail.com. You just have to meet her!
