Foster Home UPDATE Copper is pure sunshine wrapped in a sleek, red coat! This bright, happy girl will greet you with an enthusiastic “welcome home!” every time you walk through the door. She’s affectionate and loves to lean in for pets, but she’s also perfectly content to curl up and nap once the excitement settles — usually on her favorite spot (your couch!). Copper has a playful side, too. She enjoys toys, but she’s got her own quirky system — she somehow avoids the squeakers and then proudly gathers all the toys onto her bed for safekeeping. She’s clearly a pro at being a house dog — no accidents, confident around stairs, and she knew right away that beds and couches are for lounging! Copper adores belly rubs and will happily “roach” (lie upside down) to soak up all the love you’ll give her. She’s done well with her greyhound foster sister, Mabel, but she’d do best either as an only dog or with a calm, compatible companion. Meet Lexi ! This beautiful girl is happy and playful.  She loves people and is a kind and affectionate girl. Her look is so unique. We think she is a Greyhound mix.  Lexi is 8 years old years and weighs around 70 lbs. She is a show-stopper with long legs and a sleek and graceful face. She is smart and has great energy.  She needs a home with a yard and possibly another dog to play with. She has little to no experience with children and is not good with cats. She needs a proper intro but then she is set for fun.  She can be frustrated greeter with other dogs when she is on the leash so a gentle introduction is best. She has been living with another dog for the past 4 years and they are best buds so we know she can get along. Lexi will love a more quiet household. She loves a consistent schedule and adores when her people are home with her. She does not love car rides and being out and about a lot.  Lexi is vaccinated, chipped and spayed.  Her adoption fee is $350 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Meet Miley! Sweet Miley is a 5 year old sweetheart, around 18 lbs. Such a beautiful girl with pretty lining around her eyes.  Miley is a very affectionate, loving dog. She loves to snuggle with you on the couch and go for walks (great on leash) and is happy to be in her crate at night. If you are looking for the best snuggler, Miley is your girl. She is a leaner and will drape herself in your lap. Miley is a very gentle and meek sweetheart. She can be a little timid with new people and new dogs but she only needs a moment to get over that. She was rescued from the streets of Mexico years ago and can still display a little hesitation at times in new situations. Miley is a sweet girl but is inconsistent with her potty training. She will mainly go outside but at times will have an accident inside.  Miley is good with other dogs, with proper introduction. She is best in a home without cats.  Miley is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
