She is a one year-old female Basset hound needing a new home due to changes in her former families’s life. She is a young and very active girl, and would do best in a home with another active dog to play with! She did come in with boomer, however they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. Baylor is spayed and up-to-date on all of her shots, and her adoption fee is $300! She will require a fenced in yard and is currently located in the Columbus area. This sweet older gal is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. There were changes in her owners life and they were not able to care for her any longer. Rosey is 9, she is spayed and up to date on all her shots and she recently had her teeth cleaned. However her teeth are not good and at her age we could not keep her under anesthesia long enough to do the extractions needed. She would need to have that spaced out over 2-3 procedures. As long as her new owners are diligent about keeping her teeth cleaned she should be ok for awhile and their vet can determine when and if any more procedures need to take place. Rosey is a sweet girl, crate and house trained, and good with other animals. She weighs approximately 43 pounds. She is located in the Columbus area and does not require a home with a fence. Boomer is a three year-old Basset hound who came to OBHR due to changes and financial hardships in his former family. He is a great boy, active and loves to play! He did come in with Baylor who was his housemate, however they are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together. He would probably do best with another active young dog to run and play with. Boomer is neutered and up-to-date on all of his shots. He is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. He is housebroken, however might need a little bit of a refresher as his owner was working two jobs before he was relinquished. He will require a home with a fenced in yard. Want a dog that's in no hurry to get up in the morning...who appreciates a soft blanket? He’ll wag his tail for you while you do whatever it is you do in the morning. Bonus: he comes with his own comfy blanket. Want a dog to go on a walk with you? He would love to go, doesn't pull, like having a feather on the end of the leash.. Does like to stop and smell flowers. Bangles is a beautiful Lemon Beagle. He is very good with new people and does well with other dogs. He enjoys a good trot around the yard but at approx 6 years old and 31 pounds, he also enjoys lounging in the sun. Bangles has been introduced to cats and while he has shown interest, he has not shown any aggression. Bangles will actually go in his open crate for a snooze durning the day, especially if there is a cozy blanket tucked inside, and although he does not really play with toys, he enjoys having one in his crate with him; which is super sweet. Bangles is a perfect companion dog, as he will stay close by you, not demanding, nor vocal, but a true buddy. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.
