She is quite the velcro basset hound who will follow you where ever you go. She is house trained with a doggy door. Charli is currently fostered with another female basset hound and two cats. she gets along fine with both, but she can be a bit rough with the cats if she is wound up. She only wants to play with her feline friends. She has no intentions of hurting them. She loves to jump up on people so Charli is currently working on her greeting manners. She also craves to be the center of attention and she is working on learning how to share her attention with others. Charli has not had the human interaction inside a home so she is quickly learning how to be an inside dog with humans around.Charli is extremely smart and learns quickly. Her egarness to please her people has taught her how to sit and shake. She is a natural right handed dog. Charli maybe a bit too rambunction for smaller kids, such as toddlers. The fear would be that she would unintentionally knock them down not realizing her size.Charli is Heartwork postitive and will start her treatment on 5/27. She will be in treatment 6 to 8 weeks. Meet Lucy, a basset hound/beagle mix with an affectionate attitude. Lucy is an active puppy, 6 months old, who loves to cuddle with humans. Any human will do! She likes to engage in zoomies around the yard with other dogs or children so an ideal home would be one with a yard or someone you can take her out to play in a park. Lucy is not a wanderer, and prefers to stick close to home. She absolutely loves all people and just wants to love and be loved. She is the sweetest and most adorable dog and will snuggle and be your best buddy. We are making progress on the potty training, mostly successful with occasional mishaps. She seems not to have had training when we found her so we are working on that and will need vigilance as she continues to learn. Lucy is not a fan of car rides but does better if she can see out the window. She does get along with dogs and children and is full of energy. Lucy was found on a country road in a ditch. I canâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t imagine abandoning such a loving, adorable puppy. We have had her checked by the vet and vaccinated and spayed. She is now looking for her furever home. Isla is a 7.5 year old beagle mix. She is a lovable sweetheart and an absolute snuggle bug. Isla thinks she is a lapdog. She loves to play fetch and to go on walks, but is also content laying around and getting lots of attention. She has gone through various training/behavior classes. She is skittish around other dogs due to being attacked once. She is also not great with toddlers rather out of nerves or lack of patience. Isla is being rehomed due to how she is around toddlers and the fact we are expecting another little one and she will be losing even more attention. She is a great dog who is well trained and is a great addition to the household.
