If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with this animal or multiple animals, please email us at info@animalhope.org or call 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Thank you so much for your interest in Ms. Zoey. She is still available for adoption, and her adoption fee is $300. Ms. Zoey is an 8‑year‑old Beagle weighing about 31 lbs. She’s a gentle, calm-natured girl who has done well around other dogs during her time with us. Ms. Zoey was recently rehomed to a family with cats, but unfortunately the cats were not kind to her, and it became clear she needed a more suitable, stress‑free environment. She can be a little shy at first, but we truly believe that’s simply her reacting to the shelter setting — once she feels safe, her sweet personality comes forward. She keeps her kennel very clean here, which is always a promising sign, and she absolutely loves to sunbathe in the yard during her potty breaks. It’s one of her favorite little joys.Because we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we aren’t able to guarantee whether they are housebroken.Upon intake, every animal receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipAll age-appropriate vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea, tick, and heartworm preventionA complimentary wellness exam 7–10 days after adoptionPlease note that adopters must be at least 21 years old and live within an hour of our facility. If you’d like to learn more about Ms. Zoey or schedule a time to meet her, I’d be happy to help. She’s a lovely girl who deserves a peaceful home where she can relax, feel loved, and enjoy her golden years. 🐾✨

He’s already showing off great recall, is doing well with potty training, and really thrives when he has a routine. A total package!Adopting Austin means signing up for daily laughs, constant companionship, and a very enthusiastic best friend who thinks you’re the greatest human on earth.Every good story needs a hero… Austin is ready for his forever cast.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Story
Meet Boyd!Meet Boyd, an 11-week-old beagle mix who has already appointed himself CEO of the Litter and Head of Neighborhood Security. At first, Boyd likes to take a moment to assess the situation. He’s observant, thoughtful, and clearly convinced he’s in charge. But once he decides you pass inspection? That serious little face melts and suddenly he’s all cuddles, wiggles, and puppy love.Boyd is smart, playful, and a quick learner who thrives on routine. He loves toys, exploring new places, and romping around with his brother. With his curious mind and classic beagle charm, he’s always ready for the next little adventure. He’s great with kids, likes cats, and would do well either as an only dog or with a canine buddy.Boyd may start out acting like the manager of the household, but before long he’ll become your most loyal little shadow.Equal parts brains, charm, and beagle sass — Boyd is ready to run your heart (and maybe your house). To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Meet Celina!Celina is a 10-week-old Beagle mix with a heart full of sunshine and a tail that never stops wagging. She’s an energetic little explorer who loves to play, chase toys, and make new friends—human or furry. Celina is as cute as they come, with big curious eyes and a personality that fills the room. Whether she’s bouncing around with excitement or curling up for a cuddle, she brings joy everywhere she goes. Celina is crate trained. She’s smart, spirited, and ready to grow with a family who will love her just as much as she’ll love them. She would be fine as the only pup in your home, and would be an appropriate pup for apartment living. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Hazel! Hazel is a happy, energetic girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves to play, stay active, and be right in the middle of whatever is going on. Attention is one of her favorite things, and she truly enjoys spending time with her people. Because Hazel can be vocal at times, she would likely do best in a house rather than an apartment. It’s part of her expressive nature and just one of the ways she communicates excitement and curiosity. 🐾 When she’s ready to relax, Hazel loves lounging on the arm of the couch, giving kisses, soaking up love, and watching TV with her people. She’s full of love and ready to bring joy to the right family. Hazel is dog friendly and does well with other dogs, although she is still working on learning a balance between too much excitement, and being nervous of other dogs at first. 🐶 With a little time to come out of her shell, she does amazing! Hazel sometimes can be protective of her food around the other dog in her foster home, so she usually prefers to eat her food in private away from other pets in the house. (We sure can’t blame her for that!) No cats please! Hazel currently lives in a foster home with a cat, and she likes to chase them a little too much and try to play with them like she would a dog. I mean, how is she supposed to know the difference? Hazel understands that pottying is done outside and is excellent at letting you know when she needs to go, (but she does have occasional accidents due to excitement)! She knows basic commands including “sit”, “lay down”, and “crate”. Hazel is crate trained like a pro and sleeps like a baby in her crate consistently! She is working on leash walking and doing great, but is a little skittish still and will need continued work to gain confidence in new environments! Does Hazel sound like a good fit for you? Story
Kroger was rescued from the Kroger's parking lot in our area (thus his name). The vet thinks he's about 6 or 7 years old, is extremely friendly and social; he loves everyone, including children and other animals. He's inquisitive, very, very smart and loves to learn new tricks. He even loves to go to the vet. He needs to play and interact with people, and I can no longer provide that for him.
