My brother and I were surrendered by our Previous Owners family. Unfortunately, they got deported and their family didn’t want to take care of us. I’ve spent most of my life outside, but I am potty trained since coming to the rescue. I’ve made a lot of new friends and I’m very social and very sweet. My rescuer thought it would be nice to hire someone who didn’t have much experience to give me a haircut so I’m looking a little funny right now, but when my hair grows back, I promise I’ll look like my original picture. She decided not to allow that person to shave my brother, but I am more social and outgoing and playful, and I would be great as an only dog or a companion for another dog. I’m pretty laid-back. I don’t have any bad habits, but I really love people I would fit almost any family dynamic whether you live in an apartment or a big house I would do great. I do understand most commands in Spanish, but I’m learning to understand English. Story
Hi, I’m Pancho! I’m a silly, sweet boy who loves spending time with people and other dogs. I enjoy nature walks at a good pace, belly rubs, car rides, and soaking up the sun during my naps. I also like having quiet time in my doggie bed. I love attention and affection, but not in a clingy way. Even though I look like a cuddler, too much physical affection too quickly can overwhelm me. I do best when my humans let me approach first to show I’m ready for cuddles. Life has brought me some big changes recently, and sometimes I feel stressed. I may ask for attention in ways that aren’t ideal, but I never mean harm. With guidance, I’m learning to express myself without nipping and to feel calm and secure. I’ll thrive in a calm home with patient, experienced people who can give me gentle structure and continued training. Please don’t be discouraged by what I’m still learning — what I offer in return is love, loyalty, and a truly special bond. I can’t wait to meet you!
