THIS IS BROOKLYN…and she earned her name because she has lots of moxy! We are not sure what her breed is, a little of this and a little of that, but this 3 yr old, 15 lb, black/white, darling of a dog is non shedding and probably hypoallergenic…but you’ll have to test that for yourself. She looked like Pic #4 when she arrived.
She looked like a Shih Tzu mix, but not after she was shaved! What we can tell you is she is personality personified! She listens when you give her parameters like “stay” don’t run out the door. Stop, when she is barking, and she is a complete love in the car, sitting like a little lady! That being said, she is VERY active and happy and she would do best in a home with another, small, active dog. She is a girl who would be happy going running with you and while we don’t think she has separation anxiety, she will bark when you initially leave but quiets down. That is only because she wants to be with you! She does her business outside or on a pp pad, but no guarantees at your house. She would not be a good fit in a senior home, as she really is rambunctious and loves to be in your face giving you kisses! She loves people, other dogs and kids over 10 yrs old would be fantastic (we just don’t want her to knock them over!) Whatever she is, she can be yours if you have the right fit…and she will make you a very happy doggie parent!

Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Our event is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring pictures or video of your home and yard if we have not done a home check (preferred)! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
