Story
Rory is a 3-year-old Coton de Tulear mix who arrived at his foster home underweight and scared. With consistent care, he's gained two pounds, his coat has filled out, and he's starting to show his personality. He's quiet, house-trained, and LOVES being close to his people. When you sit down, he'll settle right next to you. His foster family says he's exceptionally well-mannered and enjoys short walks. Rory needs a calm, patient home where someone is around most of the day. He's fearful from past trauma and can be nervous around other dogs, but he's not aggressive—he just needs time and gentle introductions. When scared, he withdraws and gets quiet. When he feels safe, his playful side emerges. He'll drag blankets around the room, roll on his back with his paws in the air, and keep you smiling with his antics. Ideal home: Quiet household, patient owner, consistent routine, minimal alone time. If you can offer Rory the stability he needs, he'll be your devoted companion.   Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375 February 15, 2026, 2:42 pm

Story
Utah: Another independent and bold puppy. Utah is content playing on his own, exploring and sleeping by himself. Like Kentucky, both boys can be found in separate areas away from other pups doing their own thing, like chewing on toys or sleeping. These two would do well in an apartment setting with adults or with a big family. Potty training is going well. PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN TO APPLY   We are so excited to announce that new puppies are available for adoption! Please read the process in full before applying so everyone understands how selections and event scheduling will work.   HOW IT WORKS   1. We post the puppies    Each puppy will be posted individually.   2. Applications open (February 22–February 24)    Applications will be open for 3 days per puppy.    If you are interested in a specific puppy, you must submit an application for that specific dog during this window.   Previously approved LOLA’s adopters must still reapply for the specific puppy they are interested in and follow this same process.   3. We process applications (after the 3-day window closes)    Once applications close, our team will carefully review all submissions for that specific puppy.   We thoughtfully evaluate every application and select the home that is the best overall fit for each individual puppy’s needs.   Applicants will not be contacted during the 3-day application period unless we need additional information.   4. We select first-in-line and backup adopters    After review, we will select a first-in-line adopter for each puppy and approved backup adopters for that same puppy.   5. Scheduling for the February 28 adoption event    The selected first-in-line adopter will receive a link to sign up for a scheduled time slot between 11:00–11:45 AM to meet and finalize adoption.   Approved backup adopters will receive a link to RSVP for that specific puppy between 12:00–2:00 PM in case the first adoption is not finalized.   Important reminders   Interest and intent must be clearly made known by submitting an application for the specific puppy.   Approval from a past adoption does not automatically carry over — you must apply again.   Not all applicants will be selected or contacted.   Our goal is the very best match for each individual puppy.   Thank you for your patience as we work through applications carefully and intentionally to ensure the very best outcomes for these sweet pups. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com/available-animals please note if you utilize an Iphone there are two scroll bars on the side of the screen to scroll down through available animals.   You can email Info@lolasrescue.com anytime with questions pertaining to animals in our care.  ##2655768##
