Meet Beans 🐾🫘 Beans is a 5-month-old, 10-lb Bichon/Shih Tzu mix with a fluffy white-and-silver coat and a heart full of love. He’s a sweet, people-focused puppy who adores attention and loves being held. Beans is happiest when he’s close by and enjoys being your little sidekick throughout the day. Beans is a very energetic puppy and will need lots of playtime and puppy classes to teach him manners and to be the best companion for his new family. When he can’t see you, Beans settles nicely and is surprisingly calm and quiet for a puppy. But the moment you come back into view, he greets you with joyful puppy excitement and happy wiggles — he’s just thrilled to see his person. Beans is kennel trained and resting quietly is no problem for him. He’s still learning the ropes with potty training: he uses pee pads indoors and also goes potty outside, though consistency will continue to improve with routine and patience. He hasn’t had much leash experience yet, so leash walking and pottying on leash will be new skills for him to learn. Beans could be a potential trip hazard if you have walking/mobility issues. He thinks he needs to run and weave around my feet when I am walking. Meet Suzy Q 💕 Suzy Q is a shy but very sweet 3-year-old Bichon who came to rescue as a breeder release and is now ready to start her best life. Once she feels safe, her fun personality shines—she loves to play with other dogs, run around, and enjoy her toys. She would be happiest in a home with one or two playful dog friends to help build her confidence. Suzy does well with cats and enjoys a calmer environment. Because she’s on the shy side, she may not be the best match for homes with small children. She can be a flight risk if doors aren’t carefully managed, so a secure, fenced yard is important at this time. She is currently working on leash training and housebreaking, and she’s making progress with patience and routine. At night, Suzy’s favorite place is snuggled in bed with her people.
