Teddy is 2 years old, he loves attention, hugs and kisses, unfortunately with my schedule I am not able to attend to him as much as he needs. Teddy needs a loving new home to care and give him the time he deserves. I have been his only owner since 2024. Teddy is on the ID diet, he is neutered, micro chipped, and all vaccines are up to date.

Meet Charlie, a 3-year-old, 15-pound sweetheart who is ready to find his happily ever after! He loves other dogs, enjoys playing with toys, and is always ready for a cuddle. Whether he’s curled up in your lap or snuggled as close as he can get, Charlie loves being near his people. Charlie is housebroken, though he occasionally uses a pee pad. He sleeps peacefully through the night, usually sharing his foster’s bed, but sometimes choosing a cozy dog bed of his own. This sweet boy has settled beautifully into foster life. All he’s missing is a family to call his own. Could you help us write Charlie’s happily ever after final chapter?

Meet Toby, an 8 year old, 13 pound Havanese mix with a big personality in a little package! Toby is a people loving, spunky little guy who loves being with his humans. He has plenty of energy, loves attention, and is especially passionate about treats and anything edible! When Toby arrived at the shelter, he needed emergency surgery to remove one of his eyes. He has adjusted wonderfully and gets around just fine with his one eye. He does need three eyedrops a day, but his medication will be covered by the shelter for the rest of his life through our Continuing Care Program. Toby does tend to mark in new places, but we are hopeful this will improve as he settles into a home and gets comfortable. Toby has been through a lot, but he is still a happy, energetic little guy who is ready to find his people. *Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment to meet a dog, we may not be able to assist you. Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about this dog, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability. Story
Pawlo is an adorable 7-year-old, 17-pound Schnoodle/Havanese mix—at least, that’s our best guess! This sweet boy found himself in an overcrowded shelter after being brought in as a stray, and now he’s ready to leave that chapter behind and find the family he deserves. Pawlo is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves to play, does great with other dogs, and is wonderful when meeting new people. When playtime is over, his favorite place is right next to you, soaking up all the love and cuddles he can get. He sleeps quietly through the night, appears to be housebroken, and walks wonderfully on a leash. Pawlo has settled beautifully into home life and is showing us just how easy it is to fall in love with him.
