Patty is a 2-year-old Havanese mix with a playful spirit and a growing sense of confidence. She came to us with a very matted coat, so she’s sporting a short haircut for now—but once her soft curls grow back, she’ll be looking like a little superstar! Patty is settling into her foster home and learning new things every day. Her previous home loved her, but didn’t have much time for training, so she’s still working on some basics. She’s leash trained, nearly housebroken, and absolutely loves toys—especially stealing socks, so guard your laundry! She’d do best in a home with no kids, and we’re still getting to know how she feels about other dogs. We’ll continue to update as we learn more. Patty is current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed soon. With a little time and patience, she’s going to make a wonderful companion. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. You must begin our adoption process by applying to adopt on clawsadopt.org. Please do NOT inquire via Petfinder, social media messengers or in our comments. Kylo is a 5-year-old Black Havapoo, born November 5, 2020. He was purchased from Central Park Puppies and came home in January 2021. He is incredibly smart, food-motivated, and loves playing fetch. Kylo enjoys being outside and will happily walk in any weather. He does not like shoes but will wear a slip-on coat when heading outdoors. Kylo is independent and not overly cuddly, though he enjoys lying next to you while you relax. He thrives in a calm, predictable environment and does best with adults. A home without children is preferred, as he does not enjoy frequent petting. Kylo has anxiety and is on medication. Our current apartment, located in front of an elevator with frequent door noise and foot traffic, has been difficult for him. He would do best in a quiet house or first-floor apartment with minimal hallway noise. A backyard or open space to roam would be ideal. Kylo is a loving, loyal companion who will flourish in a peaceful home that understands his needs.

Rowan is a 1-year-old Havanese weighing around 16 lbs, and while he may be a little shy at first, there’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate dog just waiting to shine. He can be nervous with strangers and new situations, so he’ll need a gentle, patient approach and time to build trust. A calm, quiet home would be the best fit for him as he continues to gain confidence. Once Rowan feels safe, his personality really comes through, and it’s the sweetest thing. He’ll gently tap you with his paw or nudge you with his nose to ask for more pets, and before long, he turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. He loves to be close to his person, soaking up affection and snuggling as much as possible. He’s also playful in his own gentle way, enjoying games of fetch around the house and chewing on his toys (without destroying them).
