Story
Frida is an 8-year-old girl who’s fully embraced the art of relaxation. If you’re looking for a low-key companion to share your couch and your quiet moments, she may just be your perfect match. This gentle girl is a true couch potato—her favorite activities include curling up in her cozy dog bed, enjoying long naps, and simply being near her people. Frida thrives on routine and does wonderfully with structure. She’s housebroken when kept on a consistent schedule and walks nicely on leash, making daily strolls easy and enjoyable. At night, she sleeps quietly in the living room, content and settled. She gets along well with calm, respectful dogs who give her space, but she’s not suited for homes with high-energy or overly pushy pups. Because she prefers a predictable, low-stress environment, Frida is looking for an adult-only home or one with older teens (15+) who understand and respect a dog’s space. Frida will do best with a patient, experienced dog owner—she is not a good fit for first-time adopters. She needs someone who will give her time to build trust and allow her to move at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she will quietly blossom into a loyal and comforting companion. She doesn’t ask for much—just kindness, consistency, and a soft place to land.

Story
Left on a road at what the pound thinks is 18 years of age. And he will now be loved and warm and cared for until the day he dies. Oreo is blind, housetrained and a very sweet elder gent! He barks to let you know what he wants, to go outside or is hungry but is independent and loving. Blindness has never kept him down.

Story
DOB 12-12-2024 This sweet tiny little Poodle mix did not have a good start so she is looking for a loving Mom that needs her too! Georgie is social but shy, very sweet and loves to play with other little dogs like herself. Georgie has been spayed, she is Heartworm negative and received a ProHeart6 preventative injection. She is up to date on shots and dental work and weighs about 6 pounds. Her adoption fee is 850..00 and her transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS LLC. they are a wonderful transport delivering pets to the East Coast every other weekend The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
