Lidia is an 8-year-old, 14-pound Havanese who has spent most of her life doing one thing--having babies. As a former puppy mill mom, she was bred litter after litter and now it's finally her turn to be spoiled, loved and cherished. Lidia is a very sweet girl who can be a little timid as she learns what it means to be a beloved companion. She'll need a patient family willing to give her time, encouragement, and plenty of love as she discovers all the good things life has to offer. Lidia is not yet housebroken and has never learned to walk on a leash, so her new family should be prepared to continue helping her learn. A secure, fenced yard is a requirement for Lidia's forever home. After years of being valued only for what she could produce, Lidia deserves a soft bed, a loving family, and a life where she gets to simply be a dog.
