Sassy and her babies are fostered in West TN and will not travel until their adoptions are finalized. The very first step to start the process is to submit the adoption application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Sassy gave birth to her pups in mid February at a place that wasn’t very caring or comfortable. Thankfully someone had the sense to reach out to get them all into rescue where they are all safe, happy and healthy. We aren’t sure about the dad as he was a traveling salesman but we hear a rumor he could be a local Heeler. Sassy appears to be a Havanese mix and she weighs 30 pounds and is about 2 years old. They are all so very sweet and loving and are fostered in a home with kids, dogs, chickens, ducks, and horses. If all continues to go as planned they will be ready for forever homes at the end of April/first of May once their vetting is complete.
