She is a loving, loyal, and wonderful companion who deserves a home where she can feel safe, understood, and cared for.She would do best with an experienced adopter who understands that she needs patience, consistency, and time to adjust. She is not comfortable around children, especially babies and young children, and would be happiest in an adult-only home. She also has some resource-guarding behaviors that will require an experienced person who is willing to work with her calmly and consistently. With the right guidance, patience, and a structured environment, these behaviors can be managed and improved.I am looking for a responsible, experienced person who will give her the time and understanding she needs to build trust and feel secure. She has so much love to give and deserves a home that is committed to helping her thrive.

Peter came to us in heartbreaking shape after his owners abandoned him and MJ, leaving them to fend for themselves. Peter needed a tremendous amount of TLC, patience, and kindness before he could begin to feel safe again.Now he is ready for the next chapter of his life — one where he is cherished, cared for, and never left behind again. Peter’s ideal home will be an adult-only home with someone who is around more often than not. A retired couple would be wonderful for him, as he would love having his people nearby and enjoying a quiet, predictable life. An owner that will give him time and some space as he gets used to his new life would be perfect. He does best with another small female dog and that is recommended. Peter has been through enough. He deserves a soft place to land and someone who will show him just how wonderful life can be. Say hi to Alfalfa! This handsome little guy is possibly a Havanese/Shih Tzu mix, around 4 years old, and weighs 15 pounds. Alfalfa came to us as a stray in such severe matting that he was almost unrecognizable underneath all that fur. Now that he’s had a much-needed haircut, we can finally see the sweet face hiding underneath! Despite clearly having been through a lot, Alfalfa is still a happy, friendly, and gentle boy who seems ready to put his past behind him. He’s playful, enjoys his walks, and even does well in the car, making him a fun little companion for both everyday life and adventures. Alfalfa is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested, and we think he’d do well with kids. He will need a family committed to the time and cost associated with regular grooming. After everything he’s been through, this sweet boy deserves a family who will give him the love, care, and happy ending he’s been waiting for. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
