Meet Sweetie!AKA Presley is a bright, energetic, and athletic young dog who’s ready to bring fun and excitement to an active forever home. She’s incredibly smart—she’s already mastered every puzzle toy she’s been given, yet still lights up with excitement when she sees them. Sweetie is housebroken and walks well on a leash, though she could benefit from some continued training, especially with recall. Luckily, she’s a quick learner and highly responsive to direction, making her a great candidate for obedience classes or agility training. She thrives on activity and would do best in a home that can offer her plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation. Apartment living isn’t the right fit for Sweetie due to her energy needs—she’d love a yard or easy access to outdoor adventures. Sweetie’s favorite activities include going for walks, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and making friends (both canine and human!) at the dog park. She's very dog-friendly and loves socializing. She’s not overly vocal but will bark to alert you when someone’s at the door or when she needs to go outside. Sweetie has brought endless joy and laughter to her foster home, and now she’s ready to do the same for her forever family. If you're looking for a loving, lively, and loyal companion, Sweetie might just be your perfect match! How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance.  Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //

Story
Koala is an approx. 5-year-old, 42-pound Corgi mix who may be a bit nervous at first, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet and affectionate personality shines through. She forms strong bonds with her people and is eager to please once trust is established. Koala gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. While her experience with cats is unknown, she does not currently display any prey drive. She is crate trained, house trained, and has been a quiet, well-mannered guest in her foster home—she hasn’t barked once.   Koala rides very well in the car and walks nicely on a leash, though she can startle with sudden movements or loud noises, so a calm and patient handler will help her feel secure on walks.   With gentle guidance and consistency, Koala will continue to blossom into a confident and loyal companion. She’s a loving, easygoing dog who’s ready to find a forever home where she can feel safe and cherished. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 1, 2025, 3:44 pm

Age: DOB 11/16/2024 Dog friendly: Yes Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Huxley! Your new best friend! Huxley is the sweetest boy. All he wants is love and attention. He will sit nicely for pets, just know that when you stop, he will nudge your hand to remind you he wants more! Huxley will snuggle with you on the couch when he's ready to rest or chew on a toy or bone to keep busy. He also enjoys sitting outside watching the world around him. Huxley is kennel trained. He currently sleeps in the kennel overnight although he'd probably prefer to sleep in bed with you. He also is kenneled for a full work day and does great. Huxley is also potty trained and will go to the door when he wants to go outside. He was found as a stray with another dog friend and has also done well with other dogs in his foster home. Huxley would love a dog friend that would play with him, but doesn't need one. He loves to make a run for the door when it opens so use caution as he might take himself on a walk unexpectedly! Huxley does fine walking on a leash but does still need some leash work as he likes to just go whichever direction he wants. As for barking, he's been quiet in the house. However, when outside, he does bark at the neighbor dogs who run up to the fence and bark at him. He lives in a foster home with a 6-year-old child and loves attention from the kid, although he's still getting used to the fast movements at times. Huxley really enjoys everyone. He's a happy guy and would love walks to see the world and meet new friends. He'd love to meet you as well and be your buddy for life! Adoption Fee: $595
