Story
Meet Aru   Name: Aru Age: 3 months Sex: Female Spayed: No (too young) Breed: Husky × Jindo mix Color: Black & White Weight: 4.9 kg Height: 30 cm (shoulder)   Rescue Story   Aru was born as one of six puppies to a Husky-mix mother who was living as a yard dog in Korea. She has now been safely moved into foster care, where she is receiving her vaccinations and getting ready for her forever home   With People   Aru is very affectionate and friendly. She happily approaches both familiar and unfamiliar people, rubs against them, and enjoys being petted. She loves both men and women and is especially great with children under 13. She enjoys being picked up and carried, and often rolls over to show her belly when she’s playing.   With Other Dogs   Aru is very social and loves other dogs of all sizes. She eagerly approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play. Sometimes she can be a little too enthusiastic and doesn’t always realize when another dog needs space, especially with bigger dogs — she is currently living with a large dog and is so fearless that she sometimes gets corrected for being too bold. Overall, she loves dogs and plays well with them.   With Cats   She has not been officially tested with cats yet, but because she is playful and curious, she could do well with a cat who is comfortable with dogs.   Energy Level   Aru has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities, but after playtime or walks, she settles nicely and rests calmly.   Leash & Walking   She has just started leash training and is still learning. Right now, she tends to pull and go in the direction she wants, so she will need continued practice and guidance.   At Home   When Aru first arrived, she cried for about a week while adjusting to her new environment, but she is now settled and no longer cries. She may bark when she gets over-excited while playing with other dogs or when she doesn’t get what she wants right away.   She still whines a bit in her crate but eventually falls asleep. If she wakes up and wants to come out, she may cry again. When left alone, she usually just sleeps and can also entertain herself with toys.   She is currently doing both indoor pee-pad potty and outdoor potty training and has been left alone for up to 3–4 hours without issues.   What Makes Aru Special   Aru is a happy, playful, loving puppy who enjoys people, dogs, and life in general. She would do wonderfully in a home that can continue her training, give her regular outdoor time, and let her grow into the confident, joyful dog she’s meant to be Apply to adopt or foster: https://adoptmekr.org  Please also visit our Facebook or Instagram. Story
Currently in a Vancouver foster home 🐾 Hello, I’m Bombom — a gentle boy ready for a brand-new beginning. I’m a Welsh Corgi–Spitz mix boy, about 7.2kg, with a small but sturdy body and soft white fur that everyone notices right away. People say I have a cozy, comforting look — the kind that makes you want to smile when you see me. In February 2024, I was rescued from a place where dogs were being slaughtered. Three of us were saved that day… and I am one of the lucky ones. Because of where I came from, people worried I might be afraid of humans. But surprisingly, I’m not. I love people — truly. If you call my name, I’ll trot over with my tail wagging, hoping for affection. I enjoy attention and I have a sweet, gentle heart that just wants to be loved. I get along naturally with other dogs and have a calm, easygoing social nature. I’m also great on walks — steady, relaxed, and lovely to walk beside. Being outdoors with someone I trust feels peaceful and happy. I’m more than ready to be cared for, cherished, and loved. Now, I’m waiting for a forever family who can give me a safe, warm place to spend the rest of my life. Please give a new beginning to a soft-hearted boy like me — a boy with fur as white and gentle as his heart. 🤍🌿 With love, Bombom 🐶

Story
Elsa is a 1-year-old female Wolfdog, weighing 23kg. She was rescued just in time from a shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia. Now, she’s looking for a loving family who will give her the life she deserves. Elsa is full of energy, curiosity, and love, making every day an adventure! Personality & Behavior Elsa is a bright and affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. She expresses her excitement with joyful jumps when greeting her favorite humans. While this is endearing, she already understands the "sit" command, so with consistent training, she can learn to greet politely. Elsa thrives on human interaction and will form a deep bond with her owner through love, training, and patience. She is still learning how to socialize with other dogs properly. While she is not aggressive, she needs time and guidance to build confidence in dog interactions. Currently, she is undergoing training to help her navigate social situations with other pups. With continued support, she will improve and learn to play in a balanced way. Activity & Training Needs As a Wolfdog, Elsa is naturally athletic and has impressive jumping ability. She needs an active lifestyle with plenty of exercise to stay happy and well-behaved. A daily routine of long walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime will help her burn off energy and settle calmly at home. She is currently in training, where she follows a structured routine that includes three outdoor exercise sessions a day for potty breaks and play. If her new family maintains a similar schedule, Elsa will quickly adjust to her new home. Elsa is an intelligent dog who picks up training quickly. She already knows "sit" and is learning to wait calmly for treats. With consistent training, she has the potential to learn many more commands and become a well-mannered companion. The Perfect Home for Elsa Elsa will thrive in a home with: ✔️ An active family who enjoys outdoor activities ✔️ Someone committed to training and bonding with her ✔️ Experience with large dogs (or a willingness to learn) Elsa is young and still learning, but she is full of potential. With love, patience, and the right training, she will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic, and affectionate dog to share adventures with, Elsa is waiting for you!
