Meet Almond – Sunshine in Dog Form Almond is a 1-year-old yellow Shepherd-Husky mix who’s ready to trade her past for a fresh start—and maybe a yard full of squeaky toys. This sweet girl was rescued off death row in Downey, CA. She had almost given up hope when someone asked Red Waggin’ to give her a second chance. Now she’s safe in Washington, dreaming of her forever (or foster!) family. Almond is equal parts playful and people-loving. She greets new friends—human or canine—with joyful energy and a few excited barks. Once she’s had a chance to say hello, she settles in quickly and just wants to be part of the pack. She's done well with other dogs and would thrive in an active home where she gets attention, structure, and love. We’re still learning more about her every day, but she’s already showing us that she’s eager to please and full of potential. Story
Kobe is a 5-year-old corgi with a big personality and lots of lovable quirks. He’s a silly, affectionate boy who loves being close to his person, following you around and napping in funny positions (he’s a pro at splooting). He enjoys daily walks, playtime, and toys, but also values downtime, naps and routine. Kobe is sweet, sensitive, and forms strong bonds with those he trusts. He has a solid training foundation, is crate trained, and knows many commands, but will benefit from continued positive reinforcement. Kobe does experience anxiety and can be reactive at times, especially when overwhelmed, so he needs an experienced, patient owner familiar with dog body language and behavior. He has had a few bite incidents because of this. He is not mean, just fearful and has made great progress thus far. Kobe would thrive in a home that can provide stability, attention, and ongoing support to help him continue building confidence (no kids).

Toryn is part Siberian Husky and Belgian Malinois. He’s around 8 years old. He likes fetching, running, playing with other friendly dogs, walks and hikes. He recently had a hematoma on one of his ears that led to surgery. Ear just needs a close watch to avoid further damage. He’s protective and likes to be near hits people. Needs lots of love.
