WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Lady — Gentle Soul, Quiet Companion, Blossoming Beauty 🐾✨ Hi… I’m Lady 💛 I’m about 10 months old, 25 pounds, and if I’m being honest… I’m still figuring this big, busy world out. I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy. Some of my favorite things: - Going on walks (I’m actually really good on a leash!) - Checking in to make sure you’re still there… because you’re important 💛 - Quietly hanging out near you like your polite little shadow - Learning that the world isn’t so scary after all I’m not the chaotic, zoomy type—I’m more of a “let’s take a peaceful walk and then sit together in comfortable silence” kind of girl. Think cozy companion, not party animal. Because I’m still building my confidence, I’d do best in a calmer home without small children. Lots of noise and fast movement can feel overwhelming for me—but with patience, love, and time, I’m blossoming more every single day. 🌼 What I really need is someone who sees me—not just the shy beginnings, but the loving, loyal dog I’m becoming. Someone who will go at my pace, celebrate my little victories, and let me grow into the confident girl I’m meant to be. I promise, I’m worth the wait. So if you’ve got a kind heart, a little patience, and maybe a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes… I’d love to be your Lady. Apply today at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛

Story
Animal Information: Wheatly is an estimated 3.5-year-old, male, Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix currently weighing approximately 22lbs. Wheatly has a lot of notes from our rescue partner in Texas so we thought we would share what we know: "Wheatly isn’t just a good dog — he’s a true glue dog. The kind who bonds deeply with one person and wants to be your quiet little shadow through every part of the day.   Rescued from a large hoarding situation, Wheatly has truly come into his own in foster care. He has learned how to relax, trust, and enjoy the comforts of a calm home, and he has proven to be an incredibly easy, reliable companion.   Wheatly is fully house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and has excellent home manners. He settles beautifully in the house, can be left loose overnight without any issues, and simply enjoys being near his person. He carries a wonderful, moderate energy level — happy to play and explore outdoors, but just as content relaxing quietly at your feet or curled up beside you.   What makes Wheatly truly special is how naturally he bonds. He prefers connection over chaos and has a lovely habit of staying close and checking in with his human, making him an ideal match for someone looking for a loyal sidekick to share everyday life with. He enjoys outdoor time, car rides, and being included in routines — happiest when he knows he belongs right by your side.   Wheatly does well with other gentle, respectful dogs, but his strongest attachment will always be to his person. "   Please keep in mind these notes are from our rescue partner. We will update Wheatly's profile once he is settled into a foster home here in the Seattle area. Foster Profile : Wheatley is a velcro darling. He is a sweet gentle boy who just wants to snuggle with his humans as much as possible. He loves to burrow under blankets (this Texas boy is still getting used to the PNW) and he loves playing fetch and strolling around the neighborhood looking for bunnies. Wheatley prefers interacting with humans and has shown little interest in playing with our resident dog. He would be best as the only dog in the home. He is house trained, leash trained and sleeps overnight in his crate without issue. He would make a wonderful devoted companion for someone who loves neighborhood walks and cuddling on the couch, dog parks are not his thing. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our rescue partner Texas. He will be transferred via Furry Freight Transport, arriving to foster care on 4/12/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.April 28, 2026, 10:25 pm

Story
Animal Information: Meet Bennett! He is the last of an accidental  litter, his siblings were given away, his family surrendered him to Washington Health Outreach, they reached out and asked for our help. Mom is 57 lbs and dad is aprox 71 lbs, both pretty pyr husky shep type mixes. fully vetted has lived with dogs cats kids Foster Profile:  Bennett is a cuddly fluff ball. He has big feet, which makes us believe he will grow to be a good size.  He gets along with dogs, people, everyone but is a little timid. We are working on his confidence. He does not bark at other dogs. He loves to play and is not aggressive. He is learning how to play fetch and will chase items and bring them back about 5x and then he is done. He is cute, inquisitive and he loves to have a little open space to run. He especially loves when our house dog will let him chase after her. He stays calm if other dogs are a little aggressive, he will just sit and watch.  He is crate trained but we are still working on his house training. He is also doing pretty good at his leash work and loves to just bop along on walks. He knows “sit", “down", does not try and get on the furniture and he will completely listen to a simple “no”. He has started to love flip flops as a chew toy but when corrected and given one of his toys he is content. He doesn’t seem to like doggy beds but has found a comfy spot in our blanket basket which he will curl up and sleep on. He also routinely sleeps at the base of your feet or he will go into his crate. He is a very sweet, and special guy. We are looking for a single family home with a securely fenced yard and a friendly resident dog. We are not considering apartments for him at this time. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
