HISTORY: Winchester was an owner surrender in Eastern Washington when he came into rescue May 24, 2023. He is a wonderful and friendly dog except he doesn't like to be in a cage. He is needing a FOSTER FAST! UPDATE: Winchester was very high energy when first coming out of his kennel and leaving Petsmart, but as soon as we were outside and had walked for a few minutes, he became STELLAR on a leash; I was shocked at how good he was! He liked to sniff around but ultimately seemed unbothered by car noise and other outside sounds, although he is interested in trying to meet other people and dogs (we did not do either on our walk so I can’t speak to how he would be if he was allowed to say hi). He seems pretty confident and is very sweet, definitely more of a chill demeaner once he gets some exercise out. I'm Narang, a 6-year-old Jindo Chow mix with a heart full of love. I was rescued just in time from a shelter in Iksan Si where I was sadly facing euthanasia. I adore people so much that I might bark a bit when I first meet someone new, but it's just my way of saying hello. In no time, I'll be nudging you for pets and cuddles. I'm polite with other dogs; I'll say hello, but I'm not much of a rough player. If another dog barks, I might get a bit excited, so I prefer a calm atmosphere. Food, though, I don't mind sharing at all, whether it's with humans or furry friends. During walks, I might pull on the leash a bit, but I'm generally good at following your lead. I'm currently recovering from heartworm treatment, so occasional diarrhea is part of my healing process. However, I'm a good eater and prefer doing my business outside. I dream of finding a forever home where I can be the center of someone's world.
