HISTORY: Yukon was rescued as a stray in eastern Washington in February 2022. He was dirty, skinny and had several lacerations. He was obvious that he had been living on the streets and fending for himself for a while. Vets believe that he was born in Early 2018. UPDATE: Yukon is a now a big beautiful boy with a luxurious coat and ready for his forever home! Yukon is looking for an active family who will include him in all their activities. He would like a home with a yard and a 6' high fence that he can't jump over. Bonus if he finds a home with Husky/northern breed experience, and someone who loves to run like he does! He would also be good a playmate. Yukon would do best with older gentle kids as he would be too much for toddlers. HISTORY: Winchester was an owner surrender in Eastern Washington when he came into rescue May 24, 2023. He is a wonderful and friendly dog except he doesn't like to be in a cage. He is needing a FOSTER FAST! UPDATE: Winchester was very high energy when first coming out of his kennel and leaving Petsmart, but as soon as we were outside and had walked for a few minutes, he became STELLAR on a leash; I was shocked at how good he was! He liked to sniff around but ultimately seemed unbothered by car noise and other outside sounds, although he is interested in trying to meet other people and dogs (we did not do either on our walk so I can’t speak to how he would be if he was allowed to say hi). He seems pretty confident and is very sweet, definitely more of a chill demeaner once he gets some exercise out. Sweet Mama Sitka Snow was found as a stray on a cold wet December day. Her owner was tracked down by her diligent rescuer and then turned her away when told that it was suspected Sitka was late term pregnant. Sitka was then taken to a vet where it was confirmed she was pregnant and due in short term. The vet hospital took her in but then with no owner stepping up, surrendered her and she was transferred to Tacoma/Pierce County Humane. We were following her story and were able to negotiate her release from the shelter a mere 14 hours before she would have been spayed and lose her puppies. Sitka was able to relax at her fosters home, given excellent nutrition, vitamin supplements and love. She gave birth to 5 healthy pups on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, she developed pyometra and had to be separated from her pups a bit early. Now spayed, beautiful Sitka is ready for her best life, and she deserves it. Sitka is smallish for a husky at 35lbs, she has been vaccinated, given parasite preventatives and absolutely glows with her sparkling white coat and gorgeous blue eyes!! She is a great size for any home and loves to be with her people! Sitka is very sweet, takes food gently. She can be a bit picky with her food - very Husky of her! Super smart and needs a secure enclosure, a fence of at least 5'+ will be required for Sitka. Sitka, like most huskies, will need physical and mental stimulation - this gal loves treat games and puzzles. She also has a sense of humor and loves to play, run and chase - loves to take toys and treats to her favorite corner. She enjoys good pets and rubs and scritches. She SMILES!! Knows basic commands - Sit, Stay, Come - and probably more we haven't discovered. Good with new people and has done well with teenagers, untested with younger kids and cats, but she's smart and takes direction easily. Perfect on a leash, calm and gentle, but eager for exercise and adventure, this girl will make someone the perfect companion.

Meet Kenai - the anchor of this amazing litter of pups! Kenai was the largest puppy, a bit like a solid defensive lineman with a big blocky head - but now is becoming more lanky like his siblings, built more like a GSD than a small husky. Kenai's ears have now both popped up!! Did you know that puppies ears can go up and down a couple times - especially while they are teething when their bodies are using all the calcium for their new teeth? Kenai is steady and calm - a lover, always engaging with humans, great with kiddos and playful littermate with his furry foster siblings. Did someone say living teddy bear? Kenai is your answer. Kenai carries a bit more brown undertones than his siblings, and is absolutely gorgeous in person. Neuter at 6 months at our veterinarian is included in Kenai's adoption fee. Kenai and his siblings are a Husky/Malamute/Mix, mama is gorgeous white Husky Sitka Snow, and while Sitka is on the smaller side at about 38 pounds, we do believe that Kenai will be a large dog. They are growing that fluffy husky coat and it is oh soooo soft!! Kenai has been dewormed and is up to date on his puppy vaccinations! He's ready to be your newest, bestest friend!! A secure fenced yard no less than 5' in height will be be required for these pups. Weights posted were as of 2.16.24. Kenai will be adopted unaltered, with a contract and deposit for neuter by 6 months.

I'm Narang, a 6-year-old Jindo Chow mix with a heart full of love. I was rescued just in time from a shelter in Iksan Si where I was sadly facing euthanasia. I adore people so much that I might bark a bit when I first meet someone new, but it's just my way of saying hello. In no time, I'll be nudging you for pets and cuddles. I'm polite with other dogs; I'll say hello, but I'm not much of a rough player. If another dog barks, I might get a bit excited, so I prefer a calm atmosphere. Food, though, I don't mind sharing at all, whether it's with humans or furry friends. During walks, I might pull on the leash a bit, but I'm generally good at following your lead. I'm currently recovering from heartworm treatment, so occasional diarrhea is part of my healing process. However, I'm a good eater and prefer doing my business outside. I dream of finding a forever home where I can be the center of someone's world.
