Story
Kronk is a sweet, handsome husky boy who's ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and plenty of fluff. With his gentle nature and charming personality, Kronk has a way of making everyone around him smile. He has lived with older children before and did wonderfully, making him a great fit for a family looking for a loyal and affectionate companion.Kronk would likely do best as the only animal in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself and truly shine as the center of your world. This prince of a pup is eager for fun adventures-whether that means exploring the outdoors, going for walks, or just relaxing at home being adored. He thrives when he's doted on (as he deserves!) and enjoys learning about life through positive reinforcement and encouragement. If you're looking for a loving, adventure-ready husky who's ready to be your one and only, Kronk may be the perfect match for you. 💙🐾 Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Sable Weight: 32.2 Age: 3yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
2.5 year old Husky cross Palomo is looking for his perfect home. Palomo has had a hard start in life – wandering with his mum and siblings as a puppy to survive on food scraps, then survived a hurricane and now awaits a real life from the SPCA PV sanctuary. Palomo is a stunning boy who would like a home with outdoor space as he hasn’t been a city dog – though he walks past cars and trucks and even cows without much fuss. Palomo is playful but selective about his dog friends, and visits cats regularly (sometimes with a bit of zeal). He likes cuddles (though doesn’t always want to be rushed by strangers). He is a smart boy who we’d love to see wandering or running free in a big Canadian space! Palomo weighs 50lbs, is neutered, healthy and vaccinated. If you think you might be his chance at a family, or foster along the way, we’d love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com. Please check your junk mail for our response.

Story
2.5 year old Husky cross Chiquita is looking for her perfect home. Chiquita has had a hard start in life – wandering with her mum and siblings as a puppy to survive on food scraps, then survived a hurricane and now awaits a real life from the SPCA PV sanctuary. Chiquita is one of the most stunning dogs in the sanctuary, with her unique colouring and caramel eyes. She leans in for snuggles, and falls at your feet for belly rubs with guests to the sanctuary trying to get a taste for real life with someone who loves her as their own. Chiquita is playful and enjoys time with the puppies to feed off their youth. She can be selective with certain dogs, which is common for a girl of her age and we think she’d love a home all to herself. We would love to see her enjoying outdoor space in a cooler climate (Mexico is a pretty hot spot for a husky cross!). Chiquita happily visits regularly with cats – at times a bit excited around them. As she’s spent her early life in sanctuary she’s hasn’t had exposure to kids or big crowds. As a bigger girl, we’d love to see her land somewhere outside the big city. Chiquita weighs 55lbs, is spayed, healthy and vaccinated. If you think you might be her chance at a family, or foster along the way, we’d love to hear from you at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com. Story
Meet Bailey!Bailey is a young, energetic Husky-Shepherd mix (with a bit of mystery sprinkled in) who's ready for an active home that can help her reach her full potential. She's a sweet, people-loving girl with a big personality and an even bigger voice!Personality & TemperamentBailey is true to her Husky roots-curious, independent, and always following her nose. She can be a little aloof at times, but she warms up quickly and loves attention from people. She's playful, bright, and eager for adventure.Training & BehaviorBailey currently has no formal training and will need an adopter committed to helping her learn good manners and structure. She's very strong on leash and requires continued work on recall. With consistency (and maybe some tasty treats), she has great potential.Good With...Dogs: Seems comfortable around other friendly dogs given proper introductionCats/Small Animals: very excitable strong prey drive cannot go in a home with cats!People: Very friendly!Ideal HomeBailey is not a match for first-time dog owners or homes with young children-she'll thrive with someone experienced, patient, and active. Because she has a loud bark/yelp and a healthy set of Husky vocals, she's not suited for apartments or condos. She's looking for a home that can offer space, training, exercise, and lots of love.If you're ready for a fun, spirited companion who will keep life interesting, Bailey may be the adventure buddy you've been waiting for! Story
Elsa is a 1-year-old female Wolfdog, weighing 23kg. She was rescued just in time from a shelter where she was at risk of euthanasia. Now, she’s looking for a loving family who will give her the life she deserves. Elsa is full of energy, curiosity, and love, making every day an adventure! Personality & Behavior Elsa is a bright and affectionate girl who absolutely adores people. She expresses her excitement with joyful jumps when greeting her favorite humans. While this is endearing, she already understands the "sit" command, so with consistent training, she can learn to greet politely. Elsa thrives on human interaction and will form a deep bond with her owner through love, training, and patience. She is still learning how to socialize with other dogs properly. While she is not aggressive, she needs time and guidance to build confidence in dog interactions. Currently, she is undergoing training to help her navigate social situations with other pups. With continued support, she will improve and learn to play in a balanced way. Activity & Training Needs As a Wolfdog, Elsa is naturally athletic and has impressive jumping ability. She needs an active lifestyle with plenty of exercise to stay happy and well-behaved. A daily routine of long walks, outdoor adventures, and playtime will help her burn off energy and settle calmly at home. She is currently in training, where she follows a structured routine that includes three outdoor exercise sessions a day for potty breaks and play. If her new family maintains a similar schedule, Elsa will quickly adjust to her new home. Elsa is an intelligent dog who picks up training quickly. She already knows "sit" and is learning to wait calmly for treats. With consistent training, she has the potential to learn many more commands and become a well-mannered companion. The Perfect Home for Elsa Elsa will thrive in a home with: ✔️ An active family who enjoys outdoor activities ✔️ Someone committed to training and bonding with her ✔️ Experience with large dogs (or a willingness to learn) Elsa is young and still learning, but she is full of potential. With love, patience, and the right training, she will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a smart, energetic, and affectionate dog to share adventures with, Elsa is waiting for you!
