Story
Ohana is a young, active girl who is always up for an adventure—even if that means trying to head out all on her own. She does well with other dogs and would enjoy canine companionship. Ohana will chase cats, so a cat-free home is recommended. She can be a bit rude with younger children around food and during play, so a mature home is ideal, and she will benefit from continued training to help her be her best self.

Story
I’m energetic and goofy, cuddly and kissy, and there is nothing I like more than being chased! I need slow introductions to new people and I bark initially upon meeting, but after getting to know someone, I am so friendly and sweet. I like my crate and I enjoy chewing on bones and sticks. I also like taking socks to my crate when nobody is looking. I'm a big puppy and scared of new situations and do best with a dog friend to help me feel safe. I love dogs but I can, occassionally, be selective. I want to play with cats but they don't understand my play bows. I am a sweet girl who just needs time, patience and training to be all that I can be! General Socialization Notes: I am playful, enthusiastic, energetic, and great in a car until I see a person or a person with a dog out the window, then you will hear my big bark. I react on a leash to people, dogs and wildlife and have been working on meeting people with one of my dog friends at my dog daycare. Play is my biggest reward and I love playing with my friends. Once I trust a person, I'm very affectionate but it does take me time. Does Zara like other animals? I am reactive on a leash when I encounter dogs and wildlife. I'm getting better at not reacting to people. I get along with my male dog friends at daycare and live with two chihuahuas, a shepherd mix, and four cats. Introductions need to be done in a proper way to ensure my success. I can be pushy with housemates with getting attention and I like to take all the toys for myself. Does Zara like children? I don't currently have any kids to play with, but with my enthusiasm, it might be best if I'm with kids over 8, just so everyone is safe in play. Favorite Toys: I enjoy playing with and chewing on a variety of items, such as sticks, bully sticks, tug toys, and stuffed animals. Ideal Forever Home: My ideal home would be one where I receive regular attention, exercise, and mental stimulation. I learn quickly and already know cues such as sit, down, touch, and crate. I would be a good companion for a male dog, but I could be the only dog in a household and be fine too. I need an experienced dog owner to setup introductions to new people and dogs and continue working with me on my confidence.

Story
I'm looking for my furever family! I am a happy, friendly, energetic and playful girl! I love being active and venturesome and I am enthusiastic about life. I am intelligent and loveable, but also excitable and a bit of a challenge. I'd love to train with my humans! I am an escape artist and I will 'talk back.' I need lots of stimulation. I'd love a family that is active and I'd need a yard with a 6 ft. fence. General Socialization Notes: I love meeting new people! I am very smart and learn commands readily. I am good with kids, but worry that I might knock over a smaller child in my excitement. I enjoy playing tug and chasing after anything you throw, but I also like to play 'keep away', instead of bringing things back to you. I need to learn to come when called (I am easily distracted), learn not to jump on people when I greet them and to not steal things from in the house. I am ready to learn! I am very treat motivated. Does Aphrodite like other animals? I want to chase and catch small animals, so I should not live with cats, birds, guinea pigs, etc. I enjoy playing with other dogs that are close to my size, but I do play kind of rough. I could also be an only dog and spend all my time with my humans. Does Aphrodite like children? I'd do best with older children, 12 years old and older. I am very high energy and I may knock little children over with all of my excitement. Favorite Toys: I will play with just about anything, including rocks and sticks or anything else I can get my mouth on. I like to play tug and shake toys. I am an extreme chewer, so I can chew up even the toughest toys. I enjoy 5-6 inch beef cheek rolls and those can sometimes last me a few days. I like treat puzzles and working on Pupsicles or Kongs with treats in them. Ideal Forever Home: My ideal forever home would be with someone that has lots of time to spend and work with me, as I like to be very active. I might really enjoy agility training. I'd love to go on adventures. I'd love a yard to run and play in, but with a 6 ft fence because I am an escape artist. No cats, please.
