Hi there! My name is Akira. I`m a fun, friendly, sweet, and silly girl! I`m a bit of a Velcro dog, so we can spend as much time together as possible! The only time I`m not glued to your side is when I see a biiiig yard. That`s when I can really show my goofy side, with zoomies! If you are interested in meeting me or would like to know more about me, please call TCRAS at 719-686-7707!

Story
Zara is a cute young husky mix with a playful and affectionate nature, though she is usually scared of new situations and people. Once she has learned to trust her humans, she's very affectionate and loving with them. She's is great with most dogs and plays with dogs of all sizes at daycare, but can occasionally be dog-selective if the mood hits her. Zara tries to play with the cats in her foster home, but will eventually leave them alone when they don't reciprocate. She already knows sit, down, and automatically sits at doors. Zara's ideal home would be one where she gets regular attention, exercise, and brain stimulation, and lots toys (she likes all manner of toys). Zara would prefer a canine companion to help her learn to navigate new situations. Because of Zara's enthusiastic tendencies, Zara would do best in a home with children over 8yrs of age.

Story
Hi I'm Chloe, a beautiful 2 year old Husky German Shepard mix. I am scared of a lot of things in the world and need another dog to help be a bridge between myself and humans. I do not like to be handled and can be very timid. I am currently on behavior medications to help with my anxiety. I am potty and crate trained but I do have accidents when I am very scared. I definitely need another dog to help me out in the world. I love to play with my dog friends once I feel safe in an environment. I am very curious about cats and will bark at them sometimes, but I otherwise leave them alone. Because I am so nervous about the world and about humans, I would not do well in a home with children under 13 years of age. I like ice cubes, carrots treats, project toys, and appropriate chew toys. I LOVE food in general, especially human food, like pizza (pepperoni is the best!) and gravy.....I'm getting kind of spoiled with the finer food in life, while I work on being brave. My ideal home is one with another dog and a yard with a 6 foot fence. I am a flight risk when I get scared, so apartment living is not for me. I cannot be taken on regular walks since I will run if I get spooked. A home that will take things very slowly with me would be best. My adoption fee includes a personalized training program.

Story
Lumpy is a handsome boy that enjoys going for runs, chewing on bones, and watching animal tv shows. He is crate and potty trained and has lived with children, another dog, and a cat. He may need some time to adjust to his new home and a family that is respectful of his space and allow him to come to you first as he has shown some sensitivities to being handled too quickly. He is a vocal boy so may not be suited for apartments.
