Story
Meet Cody! Cody is an energetic 2 years young Rottweiler/ German Shepherd mix. He loves to go for a walk and receive belly rubs. A playful and rambunctious pup who is protective of the house and property. He can be dog selective and needs an owner who can handle a strong dog. He would make an excellent guard dog because of his protective nature but would bond well with his owner. If interested, please apply at www.naiasrescue.org.March 8, 2026, 11:39 pm

Story
G’day mates! My name is Bindi and I’m ready to find a home. My Australia themed babies and I landed at Big Hearts 4 Paws after being surrendered. We sure have enjoyed our time here getting back to health, but it’s time for us to explore with our own families. I will be spayed on Monday May 4th and I can go home Tuesday May 5th! The humans here stuck some weird brush in my mouth and sent it off in a box…then something on the computer said I’m a pitbull/husky mix? Whatever that means. I’m just a good girl who loves everyone I meet and loves to play all day with my dog friends! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and on flea/tick prevention. Puppies/dogs older than 3 months are on heartworm prevention. Please use the link below to fill out the application.  https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BHP/Dog

Story
Hi, we're 21 little souls from Alabama, and for a long time, life was confusing. We lived in a small trailer with so many other dogs that we barely understood what it felt like to have space, comfort, or a full belly. Every day was a struggle, and we didn't know if life would ever get better. Then one day, our owner looked around and realized something heartbreaking—there were simply too many of us to care for. She made the difficult decision to ask for help. That one choice changed our lives forever. Our first stop was a county shelter, and honestly, that was scary. We knew shelters can be overwhelming. We could have been separated, sent to different places, or even never given the chance to find loving homes. But our story didn't end there. Big Dog Ranch Rescue opened its doors and its hearts to all 21 of us. For the first time, we are receiving the medical care we've always needed. Our tiny bodies are being treated for fleas, we're getting nutritious meals to help us grow strong, and we're receiving vaccines to protect us from illnesses we were never safe from before. Most importantly, we're finally learning what love, kindness, and hope feel like. We still have a little growing to do, but every day we're becoming healthier, happier, and more confident. Soon we'll be ready to begin the greatest adventure of all—finding families to call our own. Life may have started with hardship, but we believe our future will be filled with wagging tails, soft beds, belly rubs, butterflies, rainbows, and people who will love us forever. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We can't wait to meet you. Love, The 21 Puppies Twenty-one little lives given not just a second chance—but the best chance at a brand-new beginning.

Meet the Lexington 12! This adorable litter of 12 made their way to Big Dog Ranch all the way from a shelter in Lexington, South Carolina. Sadly, they arrived without their mom, and no one knows exactly what happened to her. What we do know is that these pups were in need of care, comfort, and a second chance. Since arriving at the Ranch, they’ve received all the medical attention they needed and, most importantly, a whole lot of love. Our team has worked hard to show them the kindness and compassion people can offer, and these little ones have truly blossomed. Now happy, healthy, and full of puppy energy, the Lexington 12 are ready to find loving forever homes. They’re still working on their puppy skills, but with patience and love, each one is sure to grow into an amazing companion. Could one of them be the newest addition to your family?
