Cairo is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky who is looking for a loving home. We are assisting Blind Dog Rescue Alliance with finding Cairo a home. Cairo's owner got him as a puppy when his litter was going to be taken to a shelter. Unfortunately, due to changing work, school, housing, and living circumstances his owner is no longer able to care for Cairo. Cairo is an outdoor dog who needs a home that has a fenced-in yard. He's not housebroken, or leash trained. However, he has learned commands for Sit, Stay, Down, and High-Five (Paw)! Cairo is an outgoing pup who is good with men, women, and teenagers. He's also good with other male dogs and is currently living with a Chihuahua. Cairo has not been around cats or children. Cairo is not aggressive and has no bite history. He has not shown any possessiveness with treats, toys, or food. He adapts well and quickly to new situations and surroundings. When Cairo was a year and a half old, he began having problems with his eyes. He has been to a veterinary ophthalmologist who diagnosed him with a few eye-related conditions which are now under control. He is currently only taking Cyclosporine. Cairo is currently located in Miami, Florida. Angel, and her brother Kodie, need to be rehomed because the woman who owned them passed away and her 22-year-old son is not in a position to care for them. He is desperate to find them a home. Meet Polar! Poor Polar has been adopted and returned twice due to no fault of his own. The first adopters claimed and allergy to him, and the second adopters had a housing issue. The second time Polar was adopted, his mommy was also adopted with him! They have such an amazing bond and relationship. Look at this beautiful girl! We rescued Freya from a high kill shelter. She was set to be euthanized while pregnant with her babies! We could not stand to see that happen so we went and got her fast. Freya had her babies and they all got adopted. Then, one of Freya's puppies (Polar) came back due to the family having allergies. Freya was so excited because she loved her babies so much! Freya and Polar were then both adopted TOGETHER! Sadly, the adopters' housing arrangements fell through and Polar and Freya came back to us. They have the best bond with each other and we would love to see them adopted together again.
