Story
Maya is an almost 2 year old pup that loves with her whole heart. She adores humans and is wonderful with pets around the farm. She's well behaved around horses, goats, dogs, and cats. She is NOT good around chickens. Maya was living with my mother in-law, but due to a serious health condition, she is forced to rehome her. She is fully vaccinated, spayed, and Microchipped. Maya is housebroken and crate trained. She knows basic obedience and off-leash training. She's extremely intelligent, and learns quickly. She is well behaved in the house and happy to sit down when her people do, but also to follow and supervise while you do chores. She's always up for a walk or a hike, or a snuggle during a movie. She's staying with me temporarily, but my dog doesn't get along with her, and we need a foster or permanent home urgently. No fee for the right home.

Story
Astrid is a sweet, beautiful, four year old Canaan/ Lab blend. Looking into her beautiful blue and brown eyes will steal your heart.  Are you looking for a dog that loves people and enjoys running/playing in the yard?  Astrid is the dog for you!  Though a bit shy when she first meets someone, Astrid will be trusting in a few days. She is super friendly and soon will be a loyal and devoted family member. Astrid would make a wonderful addition to an active family. She loves playing in our pond at the shelter, playing fetch, and getting all the hugs volunteers can give. If you are looking for a perfect loyal companion, Astrid is your girl!  A home with a fenced yard would be ideal, but a committed and devoted family with no fence would be considered. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Meet Izzy! Izzy is a four year old husky pit mix who was found alone near a dumpster outside Dalton. She has lived mostly outside, and she truly loves kids. She has been gentle and comfortable around the eight year old and the two year old in her current home. Her family needs to rehome her because a new baby is arriving on Christmas and they can no longer give her the care and attention she needs. Izzy is ready for a stable home where she can feel safe, settle in, and start fresh. If you can offer her patience, structure, and a real place to belong, Izzy is ready to meet you. PS If you have always wanted a husky but don't want to deal with the shedding- Izzy is your girl!!
