Story
Blu was acquired from a friend who asked if I could care for her while they found and got settled into a new place. At the current place, they could not keep her. They ended up going back to their home country. I can no longer care for her. She is very friendly and full of energy. I believe she is trainable, but with me working all the time, I do not have the time she needs to be the best she can be. She loves rubs and being chased around the yard space we have. Once you get to know Blu and give her the time she needs, she will flourish. She understands some commands and learns easily with time and patiences.

Story
Aria!! 6 year old Pit/Husky Mix. 60-70 lbs.Aria is a sweet, happy girl with a remarkable pitty personality. She takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she knows you can be trusted, she is your shadow. You will have a best friend for life. She loves to cuddle and be near her people. She will roll over for belly rubs, or just sit between your legs and melt into you. Aria is a playful girl and loves to play with toys, chase balls and chew on chew toys. She enjoys talking long walks and playing fetch. If you're not available to throw a ball or toy for her, she'll toss it herself. Aria has been a part of our foster program for the past few years. During her time in foster care, she has been surrounded by love and affection, which has led to a slight weight gain. We have been working on helping her achieve a healthier weight, and although she still has a liitle ways to go, we have been enjoying our time with her. We have been spending our days playing ball in the yard, going on walks in the park, and lounging in the office. Aria is now approximately six years old and has been in rescue for about three years. Initially, she arrived with puppies, who have since found their forever homes. Aria is a shy girl around new people but forms deep bonds with those she knows. She has lived in homes with other dogs but is particular about her canine companions. Aria would do best in a home with few visitors. She is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. However, she is not a fan of crate training. Currently, Aria is residing at the Wiggle Butt Ranch, where she spends her days in the office, as she cannot be trusted around the resident cats. We are seeking a new foster or, ideally, a forever home for Aria. Despite being in rescue for three years, she has received very little interest. If you would like to learn more about Aria, please do not hesitate to contact us at AmazingMuttsAndWiggleButts@gmail.com Adoption fee $300. Aria is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. To apply visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/   ##1661489##

Story
YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 32 lbs. Hi, I’m Shellie!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m sure happy to be here and thankful for a second chance at living a great life!  I’m ready to find my new family and have some fun as well as show them what a great companion I’ll be. I was adopted for a few days, but it wasn’t a good fit as I did not like the cat and I need to work on my food and toy possessiveness which I’m doing now with my trainer.  I spent some time in the prison/foster training program off-site and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and did not like the females, but did well with the males, so if you have a male dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I met a cat in a temporary home, and we learned that I should not live with cats due to my strong prey drive. (No cats were harmed in this discovery.) / There was an 11-year-old in my foster home, and I did great with them (they knew not to take things away from me), but more mature kids - aged 15+ that will follow the rules that work for me would be best, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My former foster described me as a loving friend who gave lots of kisses and was also a bit ‘mouthy’ like a puppy! I was delightful for the Mostly Mutts photographer as I showed how much I enjoyed cuddling and being in a lap. A very sweet and lovable friend, I’m looking forward to showering my family with love! I am a bit possessive of my food, toys and anything in my mouth and there was 1 bite related to this, so I’ve been working on it with my trainer, who has implemented controlled locations for my meals, as well as accompanying commands – so please just ask about this. My trainer also taught me the command ‘drop it’ to trade my toys and bones for a high value treat.  / Energy level: 6-8, so I’ll want to be active with my new family. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so, I've mastered the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. My trainer is working with me on my possessive behaviors as there was 1 bite related to this.  I’ve since learned to trade a toy for a treat and my trainer would be happy to talk to and work with you on this.  Mostly Mutts recommends a trainer to continue my training after adoption. / I am described as pretty relaxed in my crate and I did well in my two temp. homes, too. / I did really well with my potty manners in my foster home with no accidents as well as two temp. homes I was in for a few days.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love going for walks, playing with toys, chasing tennis balls, cuddling and being in laps as well as getting my head and ears scratched and my tummy rubbed.  I also like pawing at my people’s feet lol. / I can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so I do best when given time to approach at my own pace — if rushed, I may choose to run and hide.  See personality/skills section of my profile and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m a great dog looking for a great family to love that will follow the rules that have been established to help me be successful! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 15, 2026, 8:50 pm
