Story
Cash has bounced around a lot during his first year of life. Adopted from the shelter, he was left chained outside, then taken when a roommate moved out. The good hearted person who took him has been in and out of various living situations and he has had to go stay with various other people while she dealt with some difficulties. Finally Cash is safe with Forgotten Paws! CASH is an adorable, 1 yr old, 47 lb, husky shepherd something petite mix! He is skinny with tall spindly legs 😂 Cash loves to play and always seems to have a toy in his mouth and loves to run around trying to get someone to chase him. He also loves lounging in the sun on the deck. Cash needs a home with a fenced yard and a playmate! This boy has been through a lot in his short life and he is finally living his dream here. You should’ve seen him his first day here last week. I know he thought he was at the dog park when we got out of the car in the front fenced area. He ran and grabbed every toy and was so excited. And then later in the day, I showed him the backyard and he got so excited again! His little face lite up as to say “OMG, another Dog Park?!” 😂 He is very smart! He goes in his crate and sits and waits when he sees me starting to feed everyone. Then he goes back in and puts himself to bed when he’s tired. He is housebroken and obviously crate trained but I’m told he also enjoys a good snuggle on the bed.

Story
CAYCEE is a 7 yrs old, husky mix, 50 lbs but she could lose 5.. A little winter weight but spring is near ! She will spend her days chasing butterflies, bees, birds and even airplanes. She is so funny! She is pretty lazy during the winter and loves her dog bed and indoor toys. She love summer and her baby pool or water bowl, whichever is most convenient when she wants to cool off. She has never met a stranger she doesn’t lean against and want all the love. This is why it’s astounding she has been here for several years. When she first arrived, she had lived in a chain her whole life so she was nervous and shy. We worked with her for months and she slowly became more social and now she’s a butterfly! She’s loves to cuddle and listens wells. Caycee still won’t walk on a leash. She will lay down on the leash then run to the next spot then lay down and repeat. I think with some patience she would be able to learn but a fenced I required. She gets a screen of thunder and will want to be close. If you want a dog who cuddles and snuggles and loves attention, Caycee is your dog. If you want a dog who does not she’s and minds her own business, this is NOT the right choice 😂

Story
Aria!! 6 year old Pit/Husky Mix. 60-70 lbs.Aria is a sweet, happy girl with a remarkable pitty personality. She takes a minute to warm up to new people, but once she knows you can be trusted, she is your shadow. You will have a best friend for life. She loves to cuddle and be near her people. She will roll over for belly rubs, or just sit between your legs and melt into you. Aria is a playful girl and loves to play with toys, chase balls and chew on chew toys. She enjoys talking long walks and playing fetch. If you're not available to throw a ball or toy for her, she'll toss it herself. Aria has been a part of our foster program for the past few years. During her time in foster care, she has been surrounded by love and affection, which has led to a slight weight gain. We have been working on helping her achieve a healthier weight, and although she still has a liitle ways to go, we have been enjoying our time with her. We have been spending our days playing ball in the yard, going on walks in the park, and lounging in the office. Aria is now approximately six years old and has been in rescue for about three years. Initially, she arrived with puppies, who have since found their forever homes. Aria is a shy girl around new people but forms deep bonds with those she knows. She has lived in homes with other dogs but is particular about her canine companions. Aria would do best in a home with few visitors. She is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows basic commands. However, she is not a fan of crate training. Currently, Aria is residing at the Wiggle Butt Ranch, where she spends her days in the office, as she cannot be trusted around the resident cats. We are seeking a new foster or, ideally, a forever home for Aria. Despite being in rescue for three years, she has received very little interest. If you would like to learn more about Aria, please do not hesitate to contact us at AmazingMuttsAndWiggleButts@gmail.com Adoption fee $300. Aria is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. To apply visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/   ##1661489##

Story
Avery is a fabulous young pup with a heart full of love. She adores playing with other dogs and truly comes alive when she’s with her furry friends. With people, she’s a little more reserved—especially around strangers and men with deep voices—but with time, patience, and gentle care, Avery blossoms into the sweetest, most loyal companion. Once she trusts you, she’s all in, and she is so worth the wait. Her Story: Back in October 2024, we learned about a very skinny, injured dog who was struggling to survive. A kind neighbor had been feeding her, and we were able to safely bring her in. It was clear Avery had been through something terrible—she had most likely been hit by a car weeks before, and both of her hips were shattered. Somehow, she survived alone in the woods, trying to heal while starving. An orthopedic surgeon evaluated her and decided that, since she was already healing on her own and walking, the safest course was to let her body continue recovering naturally rather than risk a dangerous reconstructive surgery. So Avery was put on medication and strict bed rest for months—hard for a pup who just wanted to play! Today, Avery runs, plays, and acts like nothing ever happened. She has a quirky little run, and while she’ll always need joint supplements and may face arthritis as she ages, she doesn’t let anything slow her down. She’s one tough, lucky little survivor. What Avery Needs: ✨ A patient adopter or foster who will give her time to feel safe and loved ✨ A soft bed and cozy space to call her own ✨ Lots of love, reassurance, and gentle encouragement ✨ Another friendly dog would be a bonus! Avery is truly special. She’s been through so much, yet her spirit shines bright. Now all she needs is a family who will see how amazing she is and give her the happily-ever-after she deserves.
