Story

Meet Orbit! 2–3 years old | Husky | Approximately 60 lbs Behind those beautiful yellow eyes is a story of neglect, suffering, and survival. For months, Orbit's cries could be heard coming from a neighboring property. No one knew exactly where he was or what conditions he was living in. When he was finally found, the reality was heartbreaking. Orbit had been living 24/7 in an extra-small crate so tiny that he couldn't stand or sit upright, turn around, or even lie down comfortably. He had no food or water available, and the crate was filled with approximately four inches of accumulated feces. That was his entire world. After animal control was contacted and further efforts were made to intervene, Orbit was finally surrendered and given the chance at a completely different life. And despite everything he endured, Orbit is now getting the opportunity to learn what life is supposed to be like. A little more about Orbit: 2–3-year-old male Husky with striking yellow eyes Approximately 60 pounds Neutered and up to date on vaccinations Leash trained Crate trained, but understandably has trauma associated with confinement. He needs someone willing to be patient, gentle, and understanding as he continues to heal. House-training status is currently unknown. Previously heartworm positive and has completed treatment. He is now heartworm NEGATIVE! Orbit has already spent far too much of his life confined to a space where he couldn't even move comfortably. He deserves a home where he can stretch his legs, feel safe, experience kindness, and finally enjoy being a dog. His past may explain some of his fears, but it doesn't have to determine his future. We are looking for a family who understands that healing takes time and who will give Orbit the patience, compassion, and stability he deserves. Orbit spent months crying for someone to help him. Now we're hoping someone will see him and choose to love him. ##2869013##

Story

Denver is a smart, sweet boy with a playful spirit and a gentle heart. Denver absolutely loves toys and can happily entertain himself for hours, especially if there’s a fun squeaky or chew toy nearby. He seems to enjoy just about every toy he comes across and always finds a way to make playtime fun. Denver is incredibly intelligent and picks up on routines and new things very quickly. He enjoys going for walks and walks wonderfully on a leash, making him a great companion for neighborhood strolls or outdoor adventures. He appears to prefer female dogs and would likely do well with a calm, friendly canine companion. One of Denver’s best qualities is his gentle nature around children — he is patient, kind, and loving, making him a wonderful family dog. Denver is ready to bring joy, companionship, and lots of tail wags to his forever home.
