Story
This gentle giant is Hunter. He is estimated to be between 2-3 years old and got along with both large and small dogs. He also does well with kids. Hunter has had two homes in his short life so we are looking to make this his last. He has lived both indoors and most recently on a farm but slept in the garage at night. He did not do well with the chickens and that is how he ended up with us. We will schedule a time for you to come meet him if your application is approved. Due to being short staffed it is hard to do dog meet and greets without an appointment.

Hi, I am on a stray hold right now hoping my family comes to pick me up! If no one comes to pick me up, I will then be available for adoption or transfer to a rescue! Once that happens, this message will disappear indicating I am available. I can not be met with while I am on stray hold, so please fill out an interest form instead. I must be off stray hold, receive necessary vaccinations, and be ready to meet people before anyone will reach out to you about my availability. Submitting an interest form does not guarantee I will be placed with you due to various factors. Interest form: https://forms.office.com/r/ZVFPcePeK4

Story
Meet Koda, the 1 year old husky boy! This handsome fella is looking for his forever home! The typical husky, Koda is a talkative pup, who loves to sing the songs of his people! Ha! Walks well on a leash. This animal was one of the pups involved in a hoarding/puppy mill/neglect case where more than 60 animals were removed from a local residence. As with any animal we adopt out, we ask that you treat your new fur baby with love, patience and kindness. What they have experienced in their short lives is not fair. They deserve a happily ever after to their previously sad story. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out an application, using the link below. Please specify which dog you are interested in. Applications without a specific dog, or otherwise incomplete, will not be considered. Adoption fee is $225. Includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, and microchipping. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ITAV/Dog For more pictures and information on this pup, please visit our website at https://www.ittakesavillage.dog/adopt We're excited to partner with Hill's Pet Nutrition for NBC & Telemundo's annual Clear The Shelters event! #Hillspet #cleartheshelters @hillspet #ClearTheShelters is here! @HillsPet and @TheAnimalRescueSite are making weekly matching donations August 10-September 10 and we need your support!
