Story
Meet Our Sweet Pea Boy ❤️We're looking for a special home for our beloved Husky mix. This difficult decision is only because his owner is leaving for college and cannot meet his needs. He is incredibly loving, affectionate, loyal, and happiest by your side. Once the excitement of someone coming home or visitors passes, he's able to settle and loves to cuddle. He's intelligent and made good progress with a trainer, who felt he has great potential with continued consistency and positive reinforcement. He has significant separation anxiety and needs a home where someone who has a flexible schedule. He also has high Husky-like energy and benefits from plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He pulls hard on leash but loves walking in the woods. He's done well with two small dogs he knows; his behavior with unfamiliar dogs is unknown. Medication has been prescribed to support his anxiety. We are committed to finding him the loving, patient home he deserves.
