Meet Mellie looking for her perfect home! This gorgeous 45 lb, 5.5-year-old Husky/Samoyed/German Shepherd mix is ready for the right family. Why we love her:Total outdoor girl give her a big yard and she's in heaven. She'll lounge outside for hours, snow or sun.Amazing with cats and other dogsFully potty trained + past the puppy phase. No chewing, no accidents calm, settled, easy to live with.Calm in the car, and totally fine being left alone for a workdayAll shots and vaccines up to dateTrained 1:1 knows sit, heel, leave it, and gets better every dayBarely barks (only to let you know she needs out!)A few notes: Mellie does best in a home without young kids, and she works through a little resource guarding so an experienced, patient owner is ideal. Mellie would love a fenced yard to play in.She's smart, stunning, and so ready to be someone's loyal best friend. Could that be you?She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Story
Noelle is a sweet little wild child with lots of puppy energy who we believe to be about 1 year old and a shepherd mix! Noelle is a highly intelligent, affectionate dog who truly loves to learn and engage. She has been working with a trainer 1-2x a week for the last month and has made incredible progress in a short amount of time. We’ve been focusing on building her confidence, helping her understand boundaries, and teaching her how to appropriately interact with people and other dogs — and she continues to improve! She has had respectful interactions with kids and loves a couple of 10 month old twins she recently met. She shows appropriate awareness and boundaries around children.Noelle would do best in an active home, ideally with a well-established dog who can help continue teaching her appropriate social behavior. She thrives with clear communication, consistency, and routine. She is best suited for an experienced owner, particularly someone familiar with shepherd-type dogs and committed to ongoing (positive reinforcement based) training and structure. Aversive training methods would be detrimental to her mental health and negatively impacther progress. She is a love bug, eager to please, and has so much potential in the right home. Her adoption fee is $350.00.If you have any questions or concerns not answered in this write-up, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Story
Meet Spike, a handsome 2½-year-old pup with a fluffy coat and an easygoing personality! Spike has lived with other dogs and would be happy to meet a canine companion. He does need to be fed separately from other dogs, but otherwise enjoys their company. A home without cats is a must for this guy. He's been doing well on a leash and enjoys spending time with people. Spike is also great with kids, making him a wonderful candidate for a family looking to add a four-legged friend. While toys don't seem to be his thing, he's content hanging out with his favorite humans—and he's a bit of a treat critic, so it may take some trial and error to discover his favorite snack! With his beautiful coat comes a little extra responsibility. His future family should be prepared for regular grooming appointments to keep him looking and feeling his best. If you're looking for a sweet, family-friendly dog who's ready to start his next chapter, Spike can't wait to meet you!

Story
Meet Remi! 🐾 Remi is a 5-year-old sweetheart who's ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home of his own. This handsome guy has a gentle, easygoing personality and enjoys spending time with his people. He walks nicely on a leash and loves getting outside to explore. While he's playful, it's clear he hasn't had many chances to just be a dog—he doesn't really know what toys are yet! We can't wait for someone to introduce him to the joy of playtime. Remi did well during his dog evaluation. He was happy to be around another dog but wasn't interested in starting a game of chase or wrestling. He's more of a "you do your thing, I'll do mine" kind of guy. Because he can be protective of his food, he'll need to be fed separately from any canine siblings. Remi is not a good fit for a home with cats, but he could do well with a respectful dog companion and is great with children. His future family should also plan on regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. If you're looking for a sweet, low-key companion who's ready to learn what the good life is all about, Remi is waiting to meet you!
