Story
I met Skye when she was a baby, that was almost 7 yrs ago. A family friends Dachshund met a neighbors husky and together they created skye, her brothers and sisters. I picked her out and she has been a sweetheart since then. I was young and craving to have a pet and so I chose Skye. Since then we grew up together and become very close. I am looking for a new loving home for her since I have a demanding job and I moved into a new place that cannot take pets. She needs new owners who have lots of love to give. Unfortunately she is now blind from an incident she had with a skunk about 4 yrs ago. She just needs a new family who will give her a happy life. I have not been able to achievement that for her. I am looking for someone who can care and love her just as much if not more.

Story
Casper is a sweet goofy boy who is mostly blind. He was born blind but can see some movement and shadows. Despite this disability, he quickly navigates his surrounding and can play fetch like a boss. He was adopted by my daughter 4 years ago. She is heartbroken to have to rehome him but is unable to find housing where she can keep him. We are uncertain of his actual age, but believe he is 6-8 years old. He loves to cuddle, play with his toys, and carrots are his favorite treat. He cannot be around cats. His prey drive and ability to only see shadows makes him unsafe around cats. He loves kids, people, and other dogs. I’m sad to see him go, but I have 3 cats.

Story
Hold onto your hats (and shoes) because Mork is in the house! This 7-month-old Husky is equal parts adorable and ridiculous, with a flair for the dramatic and a heart full of love. Mork’s hobbies include giving the best bear hugs you’ve ever had, and perfecting the art of walking on a lead. (Okay, “perfecting” might be a stretch, but he’s definitely trying his best, and it’s adorable.) Fun Facts: Professional Hugger: Need a hug? Mork’s got you covered! He might think he's a lap dog, but we’re not telling him otherwise. Aspiring Lead-Walker: Sure, he may zigzag a bit, but that’s just part of his charm. Every walk is an adventure with Mork! Expressive Eyes: That baby blue eye can melt hearts and get him out of trouble—most of the time. (He swears the chewed-up slipper wasn’t his fault.) What Mork is Looking For: Mork is searching for a home where he can share his hugs, humor, and Husky energy. He needs a family that will appreciate his quirks and help him continue his lead-walking journey. A yard to play in would be great, and if you’re up for some entertaining conversations (he’s quite the talker), Mork is your guy. Why Mork? If you want a dog who will keep you laughing, give you endless cuddles, and brighten every day with his goofy grin, Mork is the one for you. He’s still learning the ropes, but with a little patience and a lot of love, Mork will be the best (and funniest) friend you’ve ever had. If interested, please call the shelter at 231-861-5395 and leave a message to be placed on this dog's adoption list. No obligation, but it reserves your place in line on the list. The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, a bordetella vaccination and are dewormed.

Story
Meet LuLu Lemon, the most stylish 7-month-old Husky-Shepherd mix you’ll ever see! At 40 lbs of pure fluff and sass, she’s ready to strut her stuff right into your heart. LuLu is great at many things—zoomies, cuddles, and giving you that classic “Husky side-eye” when you’re taking too long to open the treat jar. One thing she’s not great at? Chickens. Let’s just say they don’t quite make the cut for her fashion-forward lifestyle. So, if you're chicken-free and looking for a walking runway model who’s ready to turn your yard into her personal playground, LuLu Lemon is your girl!
