Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
He was born in September 2021, so he will be 5 this year. He still has a lot of energy and we let him outside to run around and release energy often. He is a sweet loving boy(sometimes). We have a 6 month old baby and in the last few months he has become very touchy/ territorial. He has started growling very often even when someone just reaches to pet him. I’m not sure if it’s jealousy or if he’s becoming territorial. We don’t want to chance him biting my baby, we don’t have the time to put him through training and would just like to offer him a better home with someone who can offer him time and training

Story
Name: Nami Female 8 months old Siberian Husky About: Nami is a purebred Husky with two blue eyes. She is very playful. She is crate trained for night sleep and is still working on potty training. She knows commands in Spanish and can sit and shake hands. She is timid and nervous around her current foster dog sister but they have had issues with not getting along (the current dog in the home does not like Nami). Nami loves to play through the fence with the back fence line neighbor dogs, though. She likes to chase cats but is more playful with them than aggressive. She can play a bit roughly with younger children so we think older kids would be best. She's not aggressive, just gets very excited. She can walk on a leash but is still learning leash manners and likes to jump on her hind legs in excitement until she burns off some energy. Background: She was originally obtained by a person who does roofing but he travels long distances for work and ended up moving. She is spayed, up to date on all her vaccines, heartworm negative and will be microchipped upon adoption. If you are interested in adopting Nami, you can fill out an application at figandfriendspetrescue.org/adopt

Story
Bowie was adopted from an animal shelter in January. He is an approximately 7-9 year old Husky Mix. His favorite activities are sleeping on the couch, cuddling with his humans, walks and head pets. He is chill and likes to follow his humans around the house. Sometimes he has goofy bursts of husky energy and bounces around. He has had an extensive medical work-up and has Alopecia X. Alopecia X has caused hair loss on much of his body but is only cosmetic. He should be in an only dog home. While he loves every human he meets, he has some reactiveness with other dogs. He sometimes growls at other dogs but the reason we are looking to rehome him is that he does not get along with our other dog. He is reactive in our home to our other dog and does not like sharing the couch or space. We want him to have a better quality of life and to be safe and comfortable.

Story
Meet Johnny Johnny is an approximately 5-month-old Akita mix with the sweetest personality. He’s kind, happy, and gentle. A little shy at first, he warms up quickly and then wants to be your very best friend — and your full-time snuggle buddy. He definitely thinks he’s a lap dog! He’s calm and content inside, happy to nap on the couch, a dog bed, or in his crate overnight (he’s done great settling in and sleeping through the night). While his foster mom works from home, Johnny is perfectly happy napping, playing with his favorite rubbery, bouncy toys, or snuggling with the other dogs. Outside is where he shines — he loves to run, play, and race around the yard. He’s done great with other dogs, cats, and children. He’s still learning the leash and getting braver about car rides, but once he’s on the move, he relaxes and enjoys the trip. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, cuddle-loving pup, Johnny might be your perfect match ##2641853##
