Story
Ms. Azul... first lets get it out of the way, no filter here, those beautiful eyes are ALL natural! This beauty is roughly 1 year old, spayed UTD and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She weighs in at a petite 22 pounds and is believed to be a beagle/husky mix. Potty trained and crate trained, working hard at sit and stay. Still working on leash confidence but does very well in quiet areas with low street traffic. We have also worked with recall training and she has a lot of potential but a fenced in yard or tie out should be utilized to start because that beagle nose loves to take her wandering! She does well with cats and kids and would do well with an equally playful dog companion as she is still very much a puppy and loves to play. She even had a small intro to chickens and did well! Once you've finished admiring her eyes take a peak at those long legs, she is destined to be a hiking partner! She loves her people and LOVES the outdoors!! * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buzz is a young energetic pup who needs structure and clear boundaries.  Buzz has a lot of energy, and if nowhere to use it, he can become quite antsy.  Buzz does take time to warm up to new people, however he is quite food motivated which helps, and once he accepts you, you have a loyal best friend.  A home with a fenced yard for fetch or an active home that will take him on long walks and hikes, as well as taking him to training classes.  Buzz would likely love scent work or an agility classes.  Buzz is reported to be good with cats, in a former home it was reported he ignores the cats he resided with and allowed them to rub on him.  Buzz has been around a few social dogs since becoming a Diamond and has done well, can play a little rough but also has no problem just coexisting when it's not play time.  He is currently frustrated with pent up energy, and we feel he would do best in a home without young kids at this time.Buzz is very treat motivated, making training easier and fun with him.  Buzz is currently in board and train to work on some manners and social skills, he has been through a basic training class as well and did great with known, confident handlers.  However, in a new place with new smells, sights and sounds, he does need support to maintain focus on his handler, or else he becomes bossy.  Buzz is seeking a home to bounce to after his board and train, which would include follow up sessions with his current trainer!  If you have an active lifestyle – avid outdoors person, busy farm, and looking for a new best friend to be by your side, please reach for more information to see if you are a good match with Buzz.  Once he’s bonded with you, it is forever, and he is very loyal.  He just needs structure, activity, and time. For Fun!Also - his Wisdom Panel DNA Results came back with the following mix:48% Siberian Husky18% Labrador Retriever10% American Pit Bull Terrier8% Boxer5% American Bulldog2% Alaskan Malamute2% Rottweiler2% German Shorthaired Pointer2% German Shepherd1% American Staffordshire Terrier1% Goldern Retriever1% ChihualaVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Meet Pearl 5 years old Alaskan Husky/Mix 45 pounds of fluffy energy and personality Professional shoe collector Pearl is the total package — sweet, smart, adventurous, and always ready for her next outing! This gorgeous girl absolutely LOVES being outside. Whether she’s soaking up the sunshine, rolling in the grass, or watching the world go by from the window, Pearl is happiest when she’s exploring life around her. This energetic husky girl would thrive in an active home that can give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and adventures. She’s incredibly smart and already knows: Sit Waits patiently for her harness Gentle treat manners Crate trained Pearl walks nicely on a harness, enjoys playing fetch, and LOVES car rides. She happily hops in and watches the world outside like it’s her own personal movie. Her favorite hobby though? Sneaking off with shoes and slippers and proudly bringing them back to her blanket. Pearl is very curious about critters outside and gets excited when she spots other dogs on walks or through the window, so continued training and structure will help this smart girl shine even brighter. Story
Looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a goofy, loving heart? Meet Jasper! 2 years | 45 lbs | Male | Husky Pit mix (with a little Labrador Retriever and Boxer) Why Jasper’s your dream dog:• Loves car rides, hikes, and any outdoor fun• Food-motivated + smart = super fun to train!• Will keep you laughing with his goofy personality• Dog-friendly after a slow intro (and gentle with puppies and seniors!)• Loyal, loving, and totally devoted once he trusts you But here’s the important part: Jasper needs an adopter who truly understands the value of patience, structure, and slow introductions to new people. ‍ He’s made incredible progress over 8 months in foster, but his journey isn’t over. After a rough start and being bounced between homes, Jasper is learning how to feel safe and loved. With new people, he needs time — and rushing that process just doesn’t work for him. Jasper’s ideal home:• No young kids or cats • Calm, low-visitor household • Someone with rescue or behavioral experience• A consistent, quiet space where he can continue to grow Once he trusts you, Jasper is all in — affectionate, goofy, and your ride-or-die adventure pal. He’s not the right fit for everyone — but for the right person, he’ll be the most rewarding companion you’ve ever known. (31) ##2474643##

Story
Meet Eleven Yes, you read that right… he came from a house in Texas with 11 dogs and guess where he fell in line when they decided it was too many. Foster mom decided to call him Jasper because Eleven did not seem to be the best name around and he definitely responds to it. This sweet 4-year old boy husky/shepard mix (with a little wolf mixed in–DNA test to prove it!) is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He is potty trained and knows how to sit, give his paw, and lay down. He may be on the bigger side but he still thinks he's a “lap” dog and likes to curl up next to you on the couch! He is your typical husky though and does not like to be contained. So it would be extremely beneficial if you have experience with the breed and training him with separation and containment of a house/room. It’s suggested to have a fenced in backyard and not be in an apartment. He weighs just shy of 60 lbs.  He is great with children as his foster mom has five nieces that live in the area that he has met and done well with ages 6-15.  Having another dog may be helpful for him when you aren’t home but having someone home more often than not may be best for him. This boy deserves the and can absolutely give someone so much love.  Applications for Eleven can be submitted at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt ##2749171##

Story
Goku is eight months old, 45 pounds, and running on a level of energy that feels… professionally sponsored. Not chaotic, not out of control—just a dog who wakes up ready to go and doesn’t see much reason to stop. He’s a Shepherd/Greyhound mix, which means you’re getting speed, curiosity, and a brain that’s always looking for the next thing to do. Goku is still very much a puppy, and like a lot of teenagers, he explores the world with his mouth. Toys, hands, sleeves—if it’s within reach, it’s part of the investigation. Because of that, he’s going to do best in a home without young kids and with people who are ready to give him structure, outlets, and a little guidance as he grows up.The upside? This is a dog who will meet you wherever you are—hikes, runs, long play sessions, training work. He’s not here for a slow-paced lifestyle. He’s here for movement, engagement, and someone who appreciates a dog that lives life all the way out loud.Goku would likely enjoy another playful dog who can match his energy and help burn some of it off in a healthy way. Cats are unknown at this time. He’s fun, he’s smart, and he’s going to be a really good dog for someone who wants to put the time into him.If you are interested, please give us a call at 716-731-4368, extension 0.
