Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Buzz is a young energetic pup who needs structure and clear boundaries.  Buzz has a lot of energy, and if nowhere to use it, he can become quite antsy.  Buzz does take time to warm up to new people, however he is quite food motivated which helps, and once he accepts you, you have a loyal best friend.  A home with a fenced yard for fetch or an active home that will take him on long walks and hikes, as well as taking him to training classes.  Buzz would likely love scent work or an agility classes.  Buzz is reported to be good with cats, in a former home it was reported he ignores the cats he resided with and allowed them to rub on him.  Buzz has been around a few social dogs since becoming a Diamond and has done well, can play a little rough but also has no problem just coexisting when it's not play time.  He is currently frustrated with pent up energy, and we feel he would do best in a home without young kids at this time.Buzz is very treat motivated, making training easier and fun with him.  Buzz is currently in board and train to work on some manners and social skills, he has been through a basic training class as well and did great with known, confident handlers.  However, in a new place with new smells, sights and sounds, he does need support to maintain focus on his handler, or else he becomes bossy.  Buzz is seeking a home to bounce to after his board and train, which would include follow up sessions with his current trainer!  If you have an active lifestyle – avid outdoors person, busy farm, and looking for a new best friend to be by your side, please reach for more information to see if you are a good match with Buzz.  Once he’s bonded with you, it is forever, and he is very loyal.  He just needs structure, activity, and time. For Fun!Also - his Wisdom Panel DNA Results came back with the following mix:48% Siberian Husky18% Labrador Retriever10% American Pit Bull Terrier8% Boxer5% American Bulldog2% Alaskan Malamute2% Rottweiler2% German Shorthaired Pointer2% German Shepherd1% American Staffordshire Terrier1% Goldern Retriever1% ChihualaVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
Looking for a loyal adventure buddy with a goofy, loving heart? Meet Jasper! 2 years | 45 lbs | Male | Husky Pit mix (with a little Labrador Retriever and Boxer) Why Jasper’s your dream dog:• Loves car rides, hikes, and any outdoor fun• Food-motivated + smart = super fun to train!• Will keep you laughing with his goofy personality• Dog-friendly after a slow intro (and gentle with puppies and seniors!)• Loyal, loving, and totally devoted once he trusts you But here’s the important part: Jasper needs an adopter who truly understands the value of patience, structure, and slow introductions to new people. ‍ He’s made incredible progress over 8 months in foster, but his journey isn’t over. After a rough start and being bounced between homes, Jasper is learning how to feel safe and loved. With new people, he needs time — and rushing that process just doesn’t work for him. Jasper’s ideal home:• No young kids or cats • Calm, low-visitor household • Someone with rescue or behavioral experience• A consistent, quiet space where he can continue to grow Once he trusts you, Jasper is all in — affectionate, goofy, and your ride-or-die adventure pal. He’s not the right fit for everyone — but for the right person, he’ll be the most rewarding companion you’ve ever known. (31) ##2474643##

Story
Name: WinstonDOB: 10/20/2025Breed: Husky/Border Collie MixSex: MaleWeight: ~3 lbsLocation: Orchard ParkDate Available: 12/16/2025Meet Winston! This sweet boy is a handsome and cuddly mix of Husky and Border Collie. Winston is not only adorable but also has a charming personality that will win you over in no time. He loves to be held, is a great cuddler and is a pro at naps!Winston enjoys playing with his littermate, but he’s the calmer of the pair. He loves his stuffies and chasing the ball around. Winston is discovering the joys of yummy treats, which will be helpful in training. Winston is in the process of potty training and is using pee pads at this time, given he is still just a little dude. He’ll need a family that is patient and can maintain a consistent training schedule, especially when he is introduced to outdoor adventures.Social and friendly, Winston gets along well with other dogs and is not shy around people, including kids in his foster home. However, he hasn’t been introduced to cats yet, but given his friendly demeanor we’re confident with the right introductions he’ll do well. He’s expected to be an energetic dog and would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, where he can run and play safely. He would also benefit from a family that enjoys being active. If you’re looking for a loving companion who is ready to learn and grow with you, Winston might just be the perfect match! Consider giving him the forever home he deserves. If you’re interested in adopting Winston, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you’re already pre-approved! ##2603899##

He is a sweet boy with a vibrant personality and a curious nature. This playful little guy loves to chat and isn’t shy about expressing his feelings—especially when he thinks it's time for some fun, often communicating through his charming puppy howl. He loves to be held, gives great puppy kisses and is a pro cuddler!Rusty enjoys being close to his people and thrives in the company of other dogs. Having a furry sibling around can help him feel even more comfortable in his new environment. While he is good in his crate and does well in his pen, Rusty prefers to spend quality time with his family rather than being left alone for extended periods. Rusty’s favorite things are his stuffies, chasing the ball around, and exploring the new world around him. I love to play with toys, chew bones, cuddle, sleep, and howl when I don’t get the attention I need! I’m doing very well sleeping in a crate and with going to the bathroom on pee pads at this time, since I’m so little. I love humans, cats, and dogs, of all ages, shapes, and sizes! I just want to be near everyone! I’m expecting to be an energetic dog, so a house with a fenced in yard with a lot of room to run would be preferable. If you’re interested in adopting Taz, please apply at www.716paws.org/adopt or message the rescue if you’re already pre-approved! ##2603897##
